C: Bite the bullet and try and make it to america, despite the fact its going to cost me a few grand to do it and i have no guarantee I'll be able to set up a life there.

Options A and B have shitty internet and expensive tech in their future.

Option C puts me at risk of being shot because someone didn't like the way I walked past them, puts me at risk of being stranded in a foreign country with no money and no means of bringing myself back to Australia where I have a support network, but good internet. But that also means I have to abandon what few friends I have left.

My dad is so fucking stupid when it comes to illnesses. He values "life experience" more than medication and doctors. Bullshit you stupid motherfucker. You don't fucking understand what asthma feels like. I can't do ANYTHING when I start wheezing. I go fucking insane when I feel like I can't breeze. There isn't really [I]anything[/I] other than my asthma that makes me go fucking insane. My mom is almost 40 years old and she still needs to take her inhaler every night. But guess what? She tells me the same fucking thing! She tells me I'm going to grow out of it! She takes the same fucking meds that I do, experiences the same problems, yet she still tells me it's all in my head and I don't need the meds. Home remedies don't work. Breathing techniques don't work. There was a period of about 2 years where my asthma was pretty much gone, but it came back much worse later.

Partly I think that I overreact to it. I've known other people with asthma and they're a lot more calm about it. I know I'm supposed to relax when suffering from a minor attack, but I go fucking insane. I can't help myself. Inhaler. Inhaler. Inhaler. GET THE INHALER. Oh, god. There's also those times when the inhaler doesn't work
It's the reason I never got into playing sports too. Asthma got in the way. Or maybe it's an excuse, because I've also known people who play sports with asthma...whatever.

Fuck you asthma. I fucking hate you.

My grandparents get scammed all the time like that.

I was visiting once when scammers phoned, and when I cottoned on to what was happening I had to snatch the phone out of my grandmother's hand.

I've explained how these scams work and that they should just ignore anyone who tries it, but they fall for it every time. Luckily they are so tech-illiterate that they can't give the scammers what they want.

The reason for this is not ALWAYS a dev issue, just a lack of knowing the X isn't actually defaulted to closing. You have to tell it to close (not every language is like this, but a lot are) rather than just hide itself.
Example here, a common way it's done in Java.
