My sister brought her dog over and she put him in my room while we ate and he pissed everywhere.
When games are pricey as shit multiple years after release. Activision is the biggest culprit of having a "half off" sale still be $20/$30.

These fucking commies rioting over the election results man I'm not even from the states and it pisses me off because The Don was elected legitimately and democratically and these fucking goofs are trying to get him out of office already. That's what people in dictatorships do man.

the people riot when democracy doesn't go their way please stop
being acutely and inescapably aware of my scoliosis in every waking moment
This is really fucking late but I'm just been steamrolling through this whole thread and I know exactly how you feel. I don't have full-blown scoliosis yet but I've been told by my doctor that I've at least got the on-set due to minor but still very visible bends in my spine. With both feet on the ground I can bend my body clockwise much farther than I can counter-clockwise. Standing or having my back straight for long periods of time and I can feel a slight pain in my lower back. It takes like maybe 2-3 hours of constant standing or walking around for this to happen and it's not really a sharp pain, it doesn't really bother me but its still noticeable, it's just feel like my spine is tired even though the rest of my body is fine. I also seem to favor a side of my body. When sitting I usually lean to the right (trying really hard to stop doing this but my chair's really uncomfortable for sitting straight up in unless I have a pillow behind me), even when standing my head and neck often shifts to the right as well. I suspect this is because of years of bad habits and shitty posture which I'm trying to fix but outside of that I don't really know what to do about it. I don't like the feeling that I could be spending my later years in a lot of pain because of shit luck, no cure, and small idiotic lifestyle decisions I made as a kid and I especially don't like that there's nothing I can really do to stop it.
Gotta like having 9/10 of news being about Trump, everywhere I go
I can't even escape it at the college gaming club, because two people won't shut the fuck up about "meme magic" and to praise Kek for Trump winning i went there to play smash and get my mind off the election, and even after i left for like 10 minute they were still on about it
do what i did, order a physical copy on amazon. i got my copy of black ops I for like $10 on there instead of the $40 it is on steam
It's not so much that I need what I was looking at, I can steal my brother's copies of Prototype 1 and 2 from his room if I want to play them and if it's a game we don't own I'll just snag it from G2A or something if I really feel like playing it, but it just pisses me of that Activision pulls this shit.
the people riot when democracy doesn't go their way please stop
technically it really didn't go that way considering hillary won democratically with the most votes.
Why are DualShock 3 controllers so fucking brittle. Fucked mine up and it won't stop spamming the d-pad. [editline]13th November 2016[/editline]
My fucking PSU is starting to fail for the third time this year. Fucking useless piece of shit.
Also, as it turns out it isn't the PSU but the RAM stick that needs to be replaced. So relieved, I hate dealing with wires.

That's what people in dictatorships do man.
Uh Most of us ~socialists~ generally don't actually care that much about who wins that much. I'd say there's three main camps 1. Lesser evil-ists. These guys voted for Clinton because they support things like healthcare reform and LGBT rights while living under capitalism because, well, you still have to LIVE in this country. 2. Accelerationists. These guys voted for Trump because they think that if you vote for the worst candidate possible, you can make the world spiral into hell opening the path for a revolution to establish FULLY AUTOMATED LUXURY GAY SPACE COMMUNISM. 3. Apathetic. These people did something about as productive on election day like jacking off at home instead of voting. They think bourgeois politics is a waste of time. Most of these people aren't willing to demand Clinton be made president. There are some at the protests but they're always up for protesting fascism and might even show up if conservatives were protesting Clinton's election because fuck imperialism too. I'm kind of a lesser evil-ist, I was willing to vote for Clinton but I'd never really campaign for her. Bernie I'd be willing to make a donation or two, but I still wouldn't campaign for a social democrat. Also you say legitimately and democratically, but he won because of the electoral college. He lost the popular vote by >600k, you could say that the electoral college's way of having electors is a fair system and working as intended to give small states more power, but the second purpose of the electoral college was to prevent demagoguery. Federalist 68 spells it out pretty well. so leave us out of your divisive tirade
My mom's been getting legitimately harassed by one of her coworkers over the election result. This coworker is one of those people who's really aggressive and confrontational about their political views and who takes some weird personal satisfaction from annoying or upsetting people. She's been going after my mom because she's an easy target right now. She's been very concerned for my younger brother, who had a lot riding on this election and a lot to lose personally from a Trump victory. My brother was devastated upon hearing the result and our mom took Wednesday off to look after him. Mainly this had to do with Trump wanting to scrap Obamacare. My brother is a type-1 diabetic and requires several thousand dollars' worth of medicine every month to stay alive. He relies on my dad's insurance right now which he only has because of Obamacare. Moreover Obamacare insures that he can't be turned down for insurance on the basis of his preexisting condition. Thankfully it looks like Trump wants to keep those two specific aspects now, but at the time things were really scary. Anyway my mom came back to work on Thursday and was almost immediately confronted by this bitch who started taunting her for being so over-dramatic as to take the day off just to cope with the election loss. My mom explained the situation with my brother to this lady who just laughed it off. Since then the coworker has continued to make really aggressive jabs at my mom and my brother's expense, all under the guise of "God it's just a joke stop being so easily offended." For example, less than a hour after she gave the explanation my mom got a Facebook tag from this bitch on a video of some newscaster laughing her ass off about "crybaby liberal college students" who were upset about the election. It's only gone downhill from there. So apparently she's going to take this up with management at work on Monday. I feel really bad for her that it's come to this. She and this coworker used to be friends but as the election got closer, the lady just became a total monster.
the people riot when democracy doesn't go their way please stop
They got the popular vote. By all means, their candidate should've won, had America had a logic political system. Furthermore, it is your civic duty to be disobedient when under the threat of a tyranny. Would you say "please stop" to the black people in the 1960's because 'democracy didn't go their way'. Would you say it to the jews in 1930's Germany?
In the weekend i always wake up around 12 which in turns makes me a feel a bit like shit because that means i skipped on a few early hours that i could have spent on school, gaming or programming...
Wish I could figure out why I feel like shit when I wake up.
What's with the media's incessant need to use the phrase "white people" to blame on everything?
I dunno, they've been happy to do that for a lot of groups. No surprise that they'll pick whomever fits the required social commentary though what are you even referring to specifically? I mostly just get my news from Facepunch and right now facepunch is kind of in the opposite swing
Admittedly it's a huffpost article but Google "white people" and click the news tab and you can find hundreds. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_58278b9de4b02b1f5257a36a
My grandpa got angry at me and call me stupid just because i cannot lock the gate. Just combine this lock [t]http://losalamitosornamentalsupply.com/user/cimage/Slide-LG.jpg[/t] And this one at the end of the lock bar [t]http://cdn.small.masterlock.com/product/orig/MLCOM_PRODUCT_38969_1389DAT.jpg[/t] The fucking problem is,the bar is not long enough,so its stop at midway. My grandpa applies too much oil on it,now its literally impossible to lock it,since its always slide off from the location if the gate is pulled with enough force
So just shit journalism more than anything new Fox news is pretty much the only TV news I've seen since it's on all the time where I live and I've seen shit like that all the time about minority groups. And I mean at least the thesis is pretty good
We don’t get to make ourselves feel better by putting on safety pins and self-designating ourselves as allies.
People love doing useless shit like that. Just look at facebook any time anything happens
No google, I want the most RELEVANT results first, NOT the ones with "missing" words or spammed subdomain malware shit. Fuck google searches have sucked the past 2/3 years.
Semester test at Wednesday God please help me surviving this hellhole

Just because I'm studying engineering it doesn't mean I have a passion for it. It doesn't mean I know how to fix a car, how to fix every single computer problem in the world, it doesn't mean I know woodworking, it doesn't mean I know how to build a robot completely from scratch and make it work, it doesn't mean I know how to fix a fridge, how to fix a washing machine, how to fix a toilet, how to steal passwords, how to get free cable, how to pay your or my taxes. I'm fucking sick and tired of people telling me "How come you're studying engineering and you don't know how to fix this thing?" At school I get to study the theory and science behind shit, they're not practical courses where they make us actually fix machines. The closest thing we have to that are lab classes and even then, they're just to confirm that what we see in class actually happens in real life. Just because someone goes or went to college it doesn't mean they all have an orgasmic passion for their career and like to talk about it. I might be a minority, but when I come home from school I'm so stressed out and worried, the last thing I want to talk about is school. School for me is getting fucked with loads of work, being yelled at in class by differential equations teacher because nobody in class could remember a formula they saw a year ago, having to deal with depression and anxiety at the same time you're trying to figure out how you're gonna pay your semester since the government took away your scholarship for failing at a various subjects. Sometimes I think about killing myself because shit just doesn't seem like it's gonna get better any soon. Next semester I'll have to see like three subjects all over again because I fucked up and it costs me $1000 per subject so there goes the salary of 6 weeks of work. Then I'll have to keep going to school during the summer because those subjects will make my stay one and half years longer. Then I still have to deal with depression and the fucking lack of motivation to do anything and I just need to get more cash to pay for my therapist because a session every two weeks is not enough for me. My friends have started to use drugs and shit, sometimes I have thought of it but the risk is just too high. My life is already shit, I don't want to lose the little respect I still have for myself.

Blacks, gays, trans, are not going to be sent to fucking death camps, aight? I think we all have to just calm the fuck down about this election and wait to see what happens. The next 4 years could be good or bad, and personally, I feel a bit optimistic that Trump won't be as bad as everyone seems to think.
The people rioting and casting people out if their lives seem worse than Trump at this point.

He's using the same rhetoric and resonating with the same crowds. Would you kill Hitler if you had the chance to go back in time (in moral terms, don't think about space travel and its many problems), or would you just stand around and wait?
I was reading a bit about Mike Pence on Wikipedia and this is what I came across:
In 2001, Pence wrote an op-ed arguing against the tobacco settlement and tobacco regulation, saying that they would create "new government bureaucracies" and encroach on private lives. He stated that "despite the hysteria from the political class and the media, smoking doesn't kill."

Pence has questioned proposals to decrease penalties for low-level marijuana offenses in Indiana, saying that the state should focus on "reducing crime, not reducing penalties."
Jesus christ, what are these double standards? The "smoking doesn't kill" quote was from about a decade and a half ago, so I'm really hoping that he changed his views on at least that. Otherwise, holy fuck.
