Last night at work, while I was working, my manager found a piece of trash on the sales floor and kicked it over to me about two and a half meters and told me "hey, you need to pick that up" I swear some of the managers are absolute cunts [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] Also the general store manager literally gave me lowkey shit when I told her I couldn't work a morning shift and I'd rather work my already asigned night shift. Right after I told her no, she said under her breath "wow really?" like I offended her. [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] Also the regional manager gave one of our managers shit because one of the aisles looked like shit so the manager took it out on the fronters that night even though it was a different pair that did it the night before. [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] Also the fucking disgusting and trashy ass people who shop here. One time someone shit on the floor in the produce department. Then one night i found an empty bottle of TruMoo halfway filled with some vile yellow and milky fluid that was definitely not milk and smelled like piss (which is probably was.) Then there's the people who wipe their ass then throw the paper in the trash. Then there's the people who take ice cream in hide it in the back of the shelf on one of the aisles to let it melt. Also the kids who smash loaves of bread and open them up on the shelf. And the people who steal tampons and use a bottle of personal lubricant and then put it back on the shelf. I fucking hate my job [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] Just an fyi, if you're gonna take something out of the frozen section of a store and leave it out to thaw cuz you don't want it anymore, you are literally worse than a thief. A thief will at least use what they steal, you're just wasting food that someone could have enjoyed. I've had to throw away a few too many boxes of perfectly good lasagna and hot pockets because someone left it behind the Ritz on isle 2.

Spilled can of redbull at work in morning. Whole desk covered in redbull, keyboard, earphones, my phone, everything became sticky af. Not sure what upset me more - everything sticky and smelling like redbull all day or the fact that I lost my redbull. Cans should have anti-knockover system.

Now it's going to be fucking 84 Wednesday. Fuck this state I need to move out.

High schoolers near my hometown are protesting Trump winning the election despite the fact that they have to be 18 to vote and 90% of them are under 18. Not to mention all of the laws they are breaking from blocking traffic to property damage. What a bunch of fucking babies. This election's entire campaign of fear-mongering for both sides drove us insane. They're just walking out to have a reason to ditch school by this point. Most of them can't vote because you have to be 18 and Trump can't do anything until January. All these kids are doing at this point are just blocking traffic, creating noise complaints, and harassing pedestrians. They should be arrested, but the police can't because they're kids. How many times does this need to be repeated? I didn't vote Trump, it sucks a hard one that he won, but he won fair and square so lets grow some thick skin and wait and see what he does after inauguration.

Well the protests also send the message that he is very unliked and unpopular and that he has a lot of people he has to work with and appeal to. If just being elected can cause this, imagine what'll happen if he actually does horrible shit.

Ok, so I'm in this cultural anthropology class and the students are markedly more liberal than the majority of the school, this is So Cal btw, so that's saying something The teachers starts off by saying the election results were wrong and she stands with people who are rioting (her words) who also think trump should immediately step down because she thinks there will be death squads to round up "undersirables" and put them in camps to be murdered(NOT EVEN JOKING) The rest of the class is in agreement, it's a big hall, so about 160-180 kids. I raise my hand and say "I don't think death squads will be trawling the streets looking for people to lynch" HO-LEE-SHIT it was like I just spat on a portrait of the baby jesus and ripped a huge fart. A cacophony of "OH MY GOD"'s and "ARE YOU SERIOUS?"'s And now I have to shout over 180 people to clarify that I think RIGHT WING DEATH SQUADS will not be a thing. So now I'm bewildered that so many people want me dead (death threats were indeed thrown) The teacher wants me escorted from the building but I screamed "ok I'm done, whatever". Cops came, did nothing, I left early to go do a power point for my next class, cops come out and ask what the deal was, told them, they looked stunned that a teacher would want to have a student removed for literally voicing an opinion. And this is the same course where people jerk off to the idea that all cultural systems have equal and valid value, 'cept mine I guess. edit: i'm not really afraid of violence, I'm afraid of the prof invoking some old ass rule about student behavior that allows her to drop me, I have a 96% in the class and I want to be graded on my work and not be screwed

I'm kind of skeptical of that story but if so damn, that's a terrible teacher.

I may not understand all the stress and pressure my mom is going through, especially to make her snap into tears which I very rarely saw her do, but my sister just HAD to add more when it's not needed. This whole moving is taking a toll on everyone, especially my mom and I. She kept pushing my mom to tell us what was wrong when it was pretty obvious that it was her just relieving the pressure. It's kept getting worse and, like always, she walked away from the shit she started. It's been like this for the past 7 years. She had become such a toxic individual, it's hard to even have her around. I could even go as to call her parasitic as she does jack shit at home. Being my mom and I to clean a house of six is really rough but having both her and my other sister just leave shit to be done around and only come back to eat and sleep is starting to be really degrading on my mom's health. It would be hell if I wasn't around at home all day. Even when I still had my late afternoon shift at a studio, I barely had time to clean their mess before leaving. A part of me wants her to become a better person but I still feel this tiny bit of corner that just hates her with a burning passion. She already screwed up the family by telling lies to Child Protection about my mom years ago and that was enough to spark a wildfire over the years. She could throw someone under the bus to make herself look innocent. She plays the victim when she's the bully. She's such a nightmare and hopefully karma catches her one day. It's not fair to be this mean and still get away scot-free.
