I don't understand why in games like Skyrim, swords weigh like 10+ pounds. I don't think they exceed 5 irl
Do they have a weight? Isn't it just that they weigh 8 or 10 or 12 or stuff?
Spilling a drink i just bought all over the carpet..
Exams the day after Thanksgiving break.
My Republican Christian extended family is having a political and religious discussion while there's a movie about a guy finding his faith on TV as well as "Jesus" spelled out in gold letters blocking about 10% of the screen all along the bottom side
Do you people have ANYTHING else in your lives

I have a sword on my wall, it's at least 15 pounds.
must be a big sword, since medieval longswords are on average less than 2kg

Not having anything in their lives is probably why they have Jesus.

They won't even let their kids watch Jane the Dragon
Like holy shit I can't imagine their expressions if I were to bring my PS4 and Bloodborne over

What part of the country do they live in?
I'm irritated at the fact that I barely make shit for money to even have my own house. 20k a year is bullfuck.
So much shit lying around for thanksgiving.
I'm a pretty avid fan of podcasts, and I usually listen to at least two episodes of different podcasts a day.
My brother on the other hand, is adamant that he can't listen to anything without zoning out.
This is super irritating when I can send him a youtube video I found interesting or suggest a TV series or film and he'll probs watch it and we can talk about it, but as soon as it's JUST audio he claims to be incapable of following it at all.

It's a replica of the Longsword variant of the Master Sword. It's got a lot of decorative shit on it that adds to the weight.

I'm the literal opposite, you send me something that's like 4 hours long of audio I'll listen to it. You want me to watch a TV series or something?
hah
Im afraid my mom is becoming more of a radical christian.
Chrome's find feature blows. It disappears every time you navigate to a new page and you're supposed to be able to just ctrl+f and hit enter to search again but I had to retype the phrase to get it to work just now.
Have you tried pushing F3?
my life has now changed
Have you tried pushing F3?
Better but it looks like FP is causing the error with having to retype the phrase.
just hit my knee on my desk god damn it.
Economic test are somewhat hard today because its start from chapter 1-4 which is too much.
Then its my fucking chemistry teacher that patrol on my class.
God fucking damnit, how i wish to never see this asshole again after what he did when i was class 1 (High school)
My computer is such a slow piece of shit, I gave it 4 hours to transfer the My Favorites folder from IE onto a thumb drive to save it and it still wasn't even able to do that
I guess I should be glad I can get anything off it at all, though.
people who know nothing about HIV pulling all sorts of shit out of their ass to shame you/others and make shit harder than it already is
I thought the internet was supposed to be a wonderful resource for things like this, but people don't use it and rely on stigma and shit they heard in highschool for their knowledge on STIs and such
fuck x-x
Many STIs have a lot of stigma and needs to be taught more about in school. Like how every sitcom has a herpes joke when like 95% of the population have Herpes Simplex 1 and 10-30% of the population has Herpes Simplex 2.
I can understand why there's a lot of stigma for diseases like HIV. I would personally never knowingly have sex with someone who's HIV positive and could never see myself building a life with someone who's HIV positive, no matter how low their viral load is. For me, and probably a large majority of people, it's a dealbreaker. It's an objectively bad trait to have, which makes it a prime target for people who enjoy putting other people down and make them feel bad.
HIV is still in the minds of the general population a scary disease that carries a death sentance. Even though that's not true any more and modern medication makes someone who's HIV positive's viral load so low that it's virtually impossible to pass on.
Even though some media exist to inform people about HIV/AIDS, such as the movies Dallas Buyers Club and Philadelphia(I know Philadelphia is a pretty old movie and that back when it was made HIV was still horrificly terrifying) I still feel like that type of media creates more stigma by showcasing how deadly HIV/AIDS was 35 years ago.

Hey, at least we can expect a cure for HIV within the next 10-25 years which should kill the stigma surrounding it entirely.
A friend of mine I've known for years has been ignoring me the past few months but is constantly seen posting pictures with some of my other pals in recent events or commenting on social media outlets, yet they won't even respond to me. Feels a bit hurtful..

Cut that asshole out of your life. It's going to make you feel way better.

They are not your friends.
Ditch em
You guys are honestly right, but there's always that feeling of wanting it to turn around. I just don't want to make things bad if there was no actual ill intent.
I don't want to be on Facebook, but it's a social requirement and I would fail at life if I left.
I don't want to be on Facebook, but it's a social requirement and I would fail at life if I left.
Once I realized that the people I talk to regularly and actually want to stay in contact with I do outside of Facebook, I understood that the only reason I had Facebook were for the people I dislike and I quickly left Facebook.
Been like 4 years and I haven't looked back. Honestly, if my only contact with you was through Facebook, we weren't really friends to begin with.

Also it's nice to be able to tell my grandparents or other family members that I'm not on Facebook. No forced, unwanted interactions!
I mostly just leave it there and depend on the e-mail notifications if someone actually tries to contact me. I read like once a week but never post, gives a nice excuse if a family member asks why I didn't accept their friend request.
