My allergies are going crazy. Nose is raw from all the nose blowing/rubbing.

I get that I have nerdy hobbies, but of all people, I wish my mother would be a bit more subtle when she decides she's had enough of me talking. I was on the receiving end of a really dismissive "zinger" earlier, where she had a good laugh at knocking me down a peg. I told her "you don't have to be rude," and got a simultaneous reaction of disapproval from both parents. Apparently my mom reserves the right to make me feel stupid and small without consequence. I need to move back out again.

I hate how Miitomo mentally makes me gamble my money over those god-awful drop stages that have all these ~~limited-time-only~~ clothes that I want before they go away possibly forever. I'm not even sure why I'm bothering with that kind of shit considering that no one seems to be using this app anymore. this happened about a year ago i was minding my own business playing arcade then this little shit started to annoy me by forcing me to vs him, without asking, just straight hitting that open vs button, i should've slapped some sense to that little shit what's more annoying is that this memory just came back out of nowhere and its causing me to lose temper for no reason

Granted it was a bit more before I was 25 but I've at no point paid more than $100 a month. I didn't even know there were companies that charged $400/m for insurance :v: Anyways, my father keeps dropping not so subtle offers that once my lease runs out I could move in with him and only pay ~$200 of rent a month. While the price is fine this would require a) me to move back in with my father which I really don't want to do and b)live somewhere where we literally cannot get the internet due to it both being in an area where ISPs with landlines don't give enough of a shit to provide service and satellite providers can't provide service due to trees. No matter how many times I tell him no he still brings it up every few weeks.

I fucking hate when anything totally defenseless like a dog or child is killed in a movie or something. Christian Bale in American Psycho [sp]murders a dude in an alley[/sp], they break into Keanu Reeves' [sp]house and beat him up[/sp] in John Wick. I've got a perfectly fine reason to know that they're bad people, you don't need to kill the dog in either of these scenes :cry:

I don't understand why I have to take two years of a foreign language. I've already done a single, excruciating year of French, and they told me that was going to be it, but then they whip around and go "Oh you have to take a mandatory second year now". I don't fucking get it, why do i need to learn a second year? I don't speak French normally, and I'm not planning on ever living in a French-speaking country, so what gives?

The only people that will leave them with a modicum of fluency will be self-motivated people who worked outside of class who honestly didn't even need a class. The way European countries and places like India do it is much better, where they start people off in elementary school on foreign languages and they encourage people to actually use it rather than just diving into grammar and reading irrelevant shit.

I just want to crop & zoom this video down to a specific ratio, but I can't even do that with Premiere. :cry: I used to be so good with Vegas.

At least, not from my experience in the Netherlands or UK. We start with English in elementary but we didn't touch French or German until high school in the Netherlands and I don't think they do the same with French or Spanish in the UK.

Though having learning one second language makes you progress much quicker when learning another. One study for example had students learn Esperanto (a very easy artificial language) for one year, and French for 3 after, and compared them to students who just learned french for four years, and the ones that did a year of Esperanto wound up at a much higher level of French at the end of the 4 years. So even if it's just English they start you with while young, it makes others much quicker later on.
