Games that release on on a platform for the original and then decide to not release on the same platforms for the sequel. The two Condemned games is what I'm talking about mainly. They released the original on PC and the 360, but then the sequel went console exclusive (not even platform, just console. The game's on PS3) so that if you only owned a PC you got fucked and if you only owned a PS3 you got fucked. Hell, I don't want to play it with a controller, so even though I own all three I'm still fucked unless I take the time to set up a Cronusmax config.

Girlfriend's finance professor is the most incompetent professor either of us have ever encountered. She has accommodations through the ODS, the most notable of which is extended test time and a private, quiet environment to take exams in. To arrange this, one fills out a RITA form and has their professor sign it, form is sent to ODS, everything proceeds normally. Well, she does so, arranges the 2 exams and the final, as per usual. October rolls around, professor suddenly tells her that she can't arrange her final through the ODS, it has to be done through the college of business itself, their department. Okay, how do you do this? [I]time passes[/I] "you have to file for an exam variance" [I]How?[/I] Send a letter explaining why, plus a letter from the ODS, plus another letter confirming your accommodations to the department head's office. So we do so, its now mid november. Yesterday rolls around, professor asks how that's going. GF asks department head's office how things are going. They never got the fax. We tell them we sent the stuff. Admin Coordinator is now confused. "What stuff? Didn't you fill out the required RITA form?" ([B]RECORD SCRATCH[/B]) [I]What?[/I] Turns out, professor was [I]completely and totally wrong[/I] about the procedure, despite claiming to have clarified with the department head what to do. The RITA form was literally all that was needed all along. And this isn't the first time this has happened. This same professor has fucked this very thing up repeatedly over the course of the last year. So the admin coordinator is handling it personally as "I no longer trust him to do this properly, I apologize for his incompetence."

Incompetent teachers are by FAR one of the worst things you can run into in your educational career cause they can cost you a year or more (or even outright make you fail the class) and all those fuckers then do is 'woops, sorry, better luck next year'.

So not only did I pay $300 for the class itself, I paid $200 for the textboook, and wasted half a year of my life. Didn't even get a sorry.
