I have no problems with working as a cashier, except that it gets pretty demoralizing when the costumer doesn't even respond to your greet. I am human being, not a money exchanging robot, please respond with at least a "fuck you". And then there's the part when everyone pays with big money and expect me to give back small money. Small money won't come out of vacuum, I don't have infinite amounts of it, fucking give me a lot of small money if you have enough for buying all the products. I ran out of small money twice last night and my head almost explode by the end of the shift.

Because it calls into question how realistically they actually are trying to mimic history. I'm assuming that yes, they are leaving out and changing a whole lot of shit, so why not let that be changed from history as well? Hell, it's a whole lot better than other revisionism because I think it's much less likely to give a false impression of history, since so many people not into history just assume it's a linear line of progress and that women were treated like absolute shit at the time. So many ww2 games pretty much only have you playing as white dudes, despite Hispanic Americans, African Americans, and hell, many Japanese Americans serving as well. And there was a pretty interesting debate with rising storm 2 and playable women in the vietcong, though in that case incidents seem greatly over-exaggerated and falsified so it makes sense then to leave them out. I think the more realistic they are the more they should rigidly conform to the demographics of the time, but otherwise I really don't see why not. 16-12 is a pretty weird split tho if it's intentional.

I've wanted a Pebble watch forever. Since they came out. It fit my usecase perfectly. But I couldn't afford one, so I cheaped out on the Metawatch that I found used on ebay. It was neat, but had [I]zero[/I] community and [I]zero[/I] official support, and then the company died sso I couldn't even update it. Then, Pebble 2 gets announed. Better yet, Pebble 2 SE, a P2 without heartrate shit, hits the market and [I]goes on sale[/I] the same week as black friday. Well they sold out. Completely. Everywhere. And now Pebble is getting bought by fucking fitbit and they're going to destroy the pebble line and I [I]still[/I] won't get the watch I've wanted for years. I'm fucking done, I don't want one anymore. There's no fucking point. Nobody makes a long-life smartwatch with simple features for a cheap price because nobody [I]wants[/I] one like that. They only want the flashy sexy gimmick ridden nightmares that cost $250+ and need charging every damn day.

I sold an my old guitar amp to someone I knew from high school and she couldn't pay it all up front (300 bucks) and because I trusted her, I told her she could pay it in parts. She paid me 100 bucks sort of as a down payment. Flash forward to a month later and i ask her when's the next time she'll be able to pay me and she says that she and her boyfriend (whom I also know from high school) broke up and she moved out of the apartment. She couldnt get her amp right away and she asked her ex to bring it to her and he said he couldn't find it. So basically this stupid piece of fuck is stealing my/her guitar amp. She said she'd get the money to me eventually but it still pisses me off. This is the last time I make the mistake of letting someone pay for something in parts. This is nerdy as fuck but I hate how mages are always [I]the[/I] weakest characters in any game where you pick a class, at least in the one's I've played so far. They always seem to be a scrawny shit that can't wear armor just because and also they end up doing [I]less[/I] damage than the other classes anyway. What's the point of even having them, then? I mean logically it should be the other way around. Mages should be the [I]most[/I] powerful class in any game if you're gonna break it down like that, because they can cast fucking lightning. No matter how many muscles you have if you catch a couple lightning bolts or a fireballs to the [I]face,[/I] you're done. Not a lot of people can keep fighting while they're literally on fire or being electrocuted, and that's just two common sells. It bugs the shit out of me because I find magic to be the most fascinating part of any fantasy world and yet it always gets the short end of the stick because warriors are more mainstream despite being the [I]most[/I] boring option and, fuckin', I dunno, D&D said this is how it works 40 years ago or something.

It's some interesting presentism when people say "X was a bi woman from so long ago" when that really wasn't a concept to them. Straight relationships will most likely always be dominant for obvious reasons but I think we just won't really care about what people do, and we probably won't even terribly care to identify ourselves as something in the long run.
