Call me crazy, but that sounds like it was a ghost of someone you knew or something in a past life to me. I think since you get level 4/5 a lot, you might be sensitive to such things, I know I am. Kids are usually more sensitive to that sorta thing too since it happened when you were 14.
Wouldn't shock me all that much thanks to a few other things. Outside of pretty much nailing down events to the point of dotting I's and crossing T's via day dreaming and the like, the type of deal in relation to seeing people has become quiet common place.
Highest is 5, i was trying to induce myself a lucid dream, and managed to do it, my body was sleeping but my mind was not, i was aware that i was on my bed but i couldnt feel it and i had audio hallucination of my mother speaking and other weird noise, i could see weird stuff untill i got sucked into the lucid dream.
about a 1 or 2, that wiki artical was pretty interesting though.
I can get to level 3 when I'm in the shower.
When I'm trying to sleep, I get intense 3 and it keeps me up for a long time. But I'm always at a 1 otherwise.
Reading through these posts, some of these are really fucking creepy.
Usually at 1 or 2, but sometimes at night when I can't sleep I get to 3.
Usually 1-2 during the daytime, and 3-4 in the few hours before falling asleep.
Right now i'm at Level 1, and am for 99% of the time. It's not hard for me to focus enough to go deeper. Deepest i ever went was level 4 while trying to induce lucid dreaming.
I get so deeply into it that it feels like i am in another dimension. I still know what reality was during those times, but it's pretty freaky when you're in that pre-dream state and you keep seeing flashes of dream worlds.
The one time i succeeded in achieving a lucid dream from this, it was like i transitioned from one dimension to another entirely, with what i know as reality being left behind in my transition from waking to sleep. That's probably as close to a level 5 i have ever been.
