In the summer San fran is usually like 55 degrees (farenheit), and foggy. So a hell of a lot colder than say LA or San Diego.
I'm from CA as well. Yea, SF is usually cooler than the rest of the Bay Area but I wouldn't consider it cold (during the Summer) based on the times I've gone down there. I think it was around mid-70s(F) last time I was in SF. As for places to visit, definitely go to some of the piers and grab some clam chowder.
an american flag.
In SF now, man is this hotel awesome, my girlfriend and I could comfortably live here and occasionally have overnight guests. Beautiful old building. Anyway, I'll probably be hitting up the Union Square area tomorrow, any awesome giant / cool little shops there? I hear it's a good shopping spot.
I know this isn't an actual product, but, Walmart I know you have 'em in Canada too no doubt, but it's a much different experience here in the States. You will not be the same ever again after walking into a Walmart. [sp]I mean this in a bad way[/sp]
So, I live in British Columbia, and I'm going on vacation to San Francisco for a week. I want to be on the lookout for products that suit me but I cannot buy in Canada. I enjoy computer shit, videogame shit, movie shit, literature shit, and other general nerdy types of shit. I also have a girlfriend, so maybe I should also get her something nice that's not available where we live. Any suggestions from yanks and cross-border shoppers? I'm already planning on bringing back some Mello Yellow though, that shit's delicious.
buy real bacon
Hershey makes a Kit Kat?
Only in the US they do, that's because of some licencing they did with Kit Kat when it was it's own company in the '50s
