I'm asking for legitimate criticisms. Denouncing an entire franchise such as Gundam sounds very elitist as it's ridiculously diverse. Also, you can't just ignore its influence.

It's just that it's been shat on in this thread, but I haven't been given any legitimate reasons why.
And honestly, it's absurd to just call Gundam - as a franchise - crap. There are too many series. If you're going to criticize something Gundam-related, criticize its individual series. Heck, I'd most likely agree with you if you criticized most modern Gundam shows.
