They wanted to make another Demon's Souls game, but found all the rights were spread over like 3-4 different companies and went "fuck it" and made Blemon's Shmouls, aka Dark Souls.
Bloodborne is a direct sequel to Demon's however.

The name might seemed like Ubisoft's pathetic attempt in a racing game to appeal the kids but it's actually the lastest (and last, as of now) installment in a long franchise called 'Shutokou Battle' (or as most of you know it, Tokyo Xtreme Racers) from the 90s.
Most of the Shutokou Battle Series were consoles only, and the only PC installment was a MMO-Racing only released in Japan and has already been shut down back in 2004.
A new installment for PC or the new generation would be nice. It's the only arcadey racer that I know of that implemented a lot of realistic factors like tuning and car weight which are the things you'll only see in simulators.
