P90s shoot a round that is illegal in the US, costs a shitton more, and looks really really gay.
Man, I am not going to talk about qualities of those guns, but you are thinking about buying F2000 while saying that P90 looks gay? Really?

I mean, it has a saucer on top and a dildo shaped grenade launcher.
If you want to blow $2300 go ahead.
I had the choice of either that or an MSAR and I got the MSAR instead. I'm glad I did because it actually takes advantage of being a bullpup unlike the F2000 which is a big bulky mess. I can sling my MSAR and still get in and out of a car without much trouble, it's so compact.

I have a light on it now, old picture.
It out shoots my AR15 in every way. And my AR15 has a heavy barrel, match trigger, and a bunch of gunsmith work done to it...

Ammunition type doesn't matter.
For all intensive purposes all automatic weapons are banned in the US.
Transferable pre-1986 made/imported weapons can be bought with the proper paper work and tax stamps. And you can buy newly made/imported fully automatic weapons if you have a manufacturer license.
It's really not worth it in the US, so much of the country is open and if some war did break out here, people with bolt action hunting rifles would be doing the best of anyone.
They had a MASR too. Was looking at it for $1275 new.
They had a MASR too. Was looking at it for $1275 new.
The trigger on it is the best of any bullpup available on the civilian market.
It's long but it's really really really light. The type that always surprises you when it goes off, perfect for accuracy.
I'd like to get a 20" barrel and the factory 1.5x optic for it eventually.

There is no saucer on top and get a grenade launcher without a license, I dare you.

Where is that saucer and dildo?

u need to get a mateba
The foregrip on the FN2000 is fat and uncomfortable to hold IMO, plus the shell ejection system is kinda retarded.
Go with the MSAR, one of my airsoft buddies has both and honestly prefers the MSAR. He said you will spend much more on MSAR mags though, thats the only downside.
Personally If I had the money and the chance I'd get it.

He seems to. I could tell by his post that he had more of an idea than most of the thread combined.
Kawaii, any pictures of the gun yet?
I don't go to the gun store like it's fucking Kroger.

Except there's no question about the reliability of MSAR magazines.
I would get an E4 conversion for my MSAR, but magpul magazines are inferior to the MSAR magazines, so why bother, they're some of the best magazines on the planet. And you have the option of FACTORY 42 rounders!
The magazines are worth their weight in gold IMO.

I do, I took my aimpoint and slapped it on in the store, slapped a sling on and got 3 30 rounders, and was out the door in less than 10 minutes with a complete system ready to rock and roll. I'd like to get better optics for it though, the aimpoint is pretty boring.

The EOtech my buddy had on his looked pretty sweet. I think he has a Trijicon RX30 on it now

I'm not a fan of red dots or unmagnified optics in general.
I don't like relying on a battery. The Leupold 1x14 prismatic looks very very tempting to me if I wasn't having to pay for a flight to scotland right now.
And I think the aimpoint looks better on mine :P
Coming from an Avid shooter, someone who owns about seven total firearms.
That is a huge waste of money. The gun is overrated, hard to clean, and in my opinion extremely uncomfortable. I am not a fan of bullpups. Shelling out ~2000 USD on that thing is such a waste.
If you want a 5.56x45mm rifle you want to go with a common weapon that is cheap, and has good reviews. AR-15s/M4s/M16s jam allot but they have the most comfortable feeling out of any weapon I have fired.
Take note, the gun shop near by me also has two of these same exact weapons, an FN P90, and a Steyr Aug. It isn't an uncommon firearm if that is what you think.
If you want to shell out money for a gun that is probably extremely complicated to learn the mechanics of, when you could get something cheaper and better then go ahead.

I doubt you'll be getting to Scotland very soon. The volcano stopped all flights to and from most of Europe.

He listed a bunch of assault rifles/battle rifles then listed a Mosin Nagant?

Read before you post. Not getting it, probably getting a MSAR.
MSAR is significantly better than an off the shelf AR...
The design its self is much much more advanced and practical. It's just an issue of whether having all the weight on your right hand is more comfortable than it is on your left hand.
Personally I hate everything besides bullpups now. Finally found something comfortable and balanced for my shooting style, that I can go out to the range and look damn good with.

Well hope you are old enough to get a concealed carry permit, or shell out another ~250-600 USD for a barrel of 16.7 inches or more. Short barreled assault rifles need to be registered and you need a concealed carry permit where I live. (Virginia)
If you are really into the more modern-look of firearms and aren't familiar with the mechanics of a rifle, I would suggest getting a weapon similar to the M16/M4/AR15/AR10 in looks and mechanics. Such as the FN Scar. (Not because its a lol call of duty wepun!1111)
Also 5.56x45 is pretty hard to find where I live. You need to think about that too.

The FN Scar seemed like a waste of money to me when I toyed around with one.
In any case it's not for me, I'll stick to a piston AR platform before I go with that.

I am just saying, if he wants a modern weapon and isn't planning on getting an AR then he should go with it.
You're a fucking idiot. I hope you know that all legally sold rifles in the United States are semi-auto only, fully-automatic weapons, unless they fire some sort of pistol ammunition, are 100% illegal.
NOT EVERYONE LIVES IN THE US How can you expect everyone to know those laws?!
Not everyone thinks a gun is essential for life and just because i don't know anything about guns is no reason to be rude.

I know what I'm talking about, I know what's going on, I know the laws, and I know the availability of ammo around me. I got all the stuff like that covered, and once you own 12 guns I hope you would.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You just suggested he buy a SCAR, which is significantly MORE expensive than a MSAR, after telling him spending 2k would be a waste.
And AR-15s DO NOT jam a lot. No one uses the M16A1 anymore, modern ARs are not jam-o-matics like everyone thinks they are. If you keep a modern AR clean (as you should with any gun) and dont run REALLY shitty ammo through it, it will run all day long without stoppages.

Why does it matter if your gun jams when your shooting targets anyway? Your not going to bring your gun into a war.

Well its generally either a sign of poor maintenance or poor manufacturing. Neither of which are good.
