I'm afraid of heights only if I could slip and fall. If I'm in a plane or something like that I'm fine. Although when I'm in a really tall building and look from the window strait down that still scares me even though those windows are built to keep you from going through them.
Spiders. Daddy long legs are the only ones that don't scare me.
Daddy long legs aren't spiders. They're Opiliones.

Pholcidae (cellar spiders) are also called that.
Those are what I have in my house.
I had a toy when I was younger called a Tickle Tickle Wiggle Giggle. It may sound like an innocent name, but that toy was one of the most evil things I've ever seen. It was a little yellow man with a white tuft of hair sticking out of the top of its head. You could press its hand and it would emit a horrible, tinny laugh.
Here's a video of the toys. The one I had is the second one displayed.

Snails :v:.
It's really irrational and dumb but the thought of like, being swallowed whole and digested by something is god damn terrifying.

About 1:30 for an example of what I mean, stuff skeeves me out.
I'm afraid of not getting to finish the things I love. Like if I were to die tomorrow, who would take over my art, my writing? I wouldn't say I'm afraid of death, just the thought of never finishing something that I've invested time into is upsetting.

Idea of dying
Idea of getting old
Idea of being completely alone, lacking friends
Losing someone important to me
Idea of being covered by ants or wasps
Talking in front of a crowd
Using microphones to talk to people in real time (recordings are much easier to handle)
My future
Big responsibilities
Dying in an accident, not being able to make any plans or say my goodbyes.
Also, the void. I've had some very unpleasant dreams involving empty nothingness. The mystery zone from gen 4 pokemon scares the hell out of me.
Evisceration really gets me. I really, really, really hate imagining what holding my own intestines must feel like, but it happens every fucking time my mind wanders over that way.
That and lung trauma. Not necessarily broken ribs or a collapsed lung, but something like a hemothorax, where your lung fills with blood, or a pneumothorax, where your entire chest cavity fills with too much air for you to breathe and you suffocate that way.
I work in a juvenile hall which is a pretty secure facility but I had a nightmare last night that the juvenile hall reverted into some dangerous, grungy prison for kids and I was surrounded by a bunch of violent detainees who all had their firsts raised at me.

also as a 23 year old who is recently in the workforce out of college, Id say my biggest fear is not doing something for a living I enjoy and just wasting my youthful years doing meaningless work.
Heights
Darkness
Dark deep water
Spiders
Becoming life threatening sick
The future
Thinking of what terrifying monstrosities that could lurk in the deep oceans
Fucking sharks
I have an extremely deep fear/obsessive interest in the deep ocean and objects in it. Things like oil rig legs, large shipwrecks and other hulking structures or creates that are down there both terrify and amaze me. A good example would be the Queen Mary ship in California.

I'm afraid of talking to other people or getting into conversations even though I like to talk with others.
The dark, leeches, and the deep ocean (as seen above)
When I was a kid, my grandfather's outboard boat motor creeped me out. I used to see it as a giant robot head, and the way it jerked side to side was unsettling to me. :v:
[editline]this is an editline[/editline]
Also fucking tornadoes. When I was around 10-ish, I was at my grandparents' cottage (the same place where I'd see that spooky ass boat motor), and a tornado came through and knocked all our shit down. Going through the aftermath of it was pretty sick though, there was tons of uprooted trees (one in each of our 2 neighbors' roofs), up-side-down boats, and some other shit. I remember having a tree leaning over our cottage at an awkward angle after that, so we tried to pull it down in a way that it didn't damage the roof - instead, it came down and swiftly chopped off the only staircase to the entrance.
During the tornado, I thought we were going to get fucking merked, so I was pretty terrified of storms for a few years after that. I'm fine now though - although tornadoes are pretty common where I live, so it's not like they don't get me on the edge of my seat every time there's shitty weather with 10000 mph winds shitting on nearby towns.
This might have been posted already but I'm gonna go ahead and post it anyways:
If it's anything that scares me alot it would the thought of living out my entire life, accomplishing many things on the way, just to die and then be completely forgotten.
Alternatively, dying in a isolated location that nobody knows of. "I guess he moved to some other country or something, he's probbaly okay."
Another, albeit slightly unconventional, thing that I'm scared of is to grow upa nd slowly become like my father. That's a big no-go for me.

I'm terrified of balls of cotton to the point where I'll freak out and cry if I'm in the vicinity of them.

I swear to christ if anyone mocks me I will cry.

Just the fact that we still have yet to explore a lot of the ocean is still creepy. What's in those uncharted waters? How long until we've explored everything? Do prehistoric fish still live in the deep? How long until we see a fucking Megalodon still up and about eating whales like they were sardines?!

I feel you on these buddy. Especially the idea of getting old and KNOWING that time never stops. Makes me unable to sleep sometimes as I just keep thinking about it more and more when I go to bed and think about what's coming next.

large cats such as a panther wondering into my room at night
The thought of some thing popping out from the door on the left whenever I go up the stairs at night.
large cats such as a panther wondering into my room at night
I also have this fear, although except it being a panther, it's a large black, fat cat that barges in and starts taking up all the damn space on my bed.
Being stuck in a confined space, unable to move, can't breath. Sense of impending suffocation and or drowning.
I find the idea of working on a submarine utterly fucking terrifying. If something goes wrong, there's a breach of somekind, rising water, air is a vanishing. Yeah. No. I'm out. Goodbye.
I'm not sure if it's fear or discomfort but whenever something is pointed towards my eyes, I feel disoriented and can't recognize where I'm standing.
Doesn't have to be anything sharp, it could be a damned baguette.
I think it might be that I see both sides of the object rather than just seeing one side, since I have two eyes.
Does the sentence make any sense?
I mean, point your fingertip towards your eye, not even close, then close one eye and see how the perspective and how the finger looks has changed completely.
