• Shit That Gets You Scared: Hunt Your Nightmares

Okay here we go. Tight spaces and the idea of dying alone trapped in complete darkness without being able to move. Heights and the idea of the thoughts that would go through your head as you're falling. Sleep paralysis. I have experienced it and the roof started to slowly come down to crush me. Could have been worse but damn it if i didnt wake up screaming anyway. The idea that the human mind can turn on you. The brain is one fucked up thing if it wants to. People that run around with dogs a that are out of control. Now im not speaking about George and Lillian with their well trained and well ajusted pitbull. Im talking about the people that buy a combat dog and use it as a status symbol, never really teach it how to behave and LET THE FUCKING THING RUN AROUND LOOSE! This happends in the areas of "less repute" where i live and guess what? People and other dogs get hurt. Sure the police is always called in and the dog gets taken in and the owner gets either a hefty fine or jailtime. But guess what Lil' Retard goes and buys when he gets out? ANOTHER FUCKING COMBAT DOG! Now before i get people jumping down my throat. No i dont hate dogs. I love 'em to bits. But i do respect them. So i hate seeing dogs being punished for the ignorance of their masters.
Sharks and other killer fish terrify me to the point that I can't play games that have them. Screamers also make me numb and extremely paranoid for a while.
honestly not flaming, but why? like what about the cotton balls terrify you? i know fear is irrational but there must be a certain aspect of it you can think of that just horrifies you
The softness is otherworldly.
NEVERMIND A fucker just crawled inches away from my arm on my chair, and I had several seconds of sheer panic of trying to get away until I realized what I was doing.
I always pick them up and put them outside when they get in my house
That shit absolutely fucking terrified me when I was younger. It still haunts me. no it's not funny stop laughing at me
My biggest fear, well perhaps not even a fear, maybe more of scary and sad at the same time thought is: That some day some exterrestrial life will find golden record (say million years from now) , study out culture, who we are, what great things we had to enjoy, so they visit planet earth but as they arrive - they find nothing but desert or water. Anything that has ever existed on our planet is long time gone by then. Thought of that creates this kind of scary/surreal/sad feeling in me always.
I have an extremely deep fear/obsessive interest in the deep ocean and objects in it. Things like oil rig legs, large shipwrecks and other hulking structures or creates that are down there both terrify and amaze me. A good example would be the Queen Mary ship in California.
Adding onto the thalassophobia, marine life in general is absolutely terrifying. Spiders, but I'm slowly getting over that fear. Heights Burning to death Looking out my windows at night
The death of my loved ones
Spiders, but I'm slowly getting over that fear. Heights Burning to death Looking out my windows at night
Not wanting a painful death isn't necessarily a fear. It's just being a reasonable creature.
[t]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2700/4341387359_73b1373beb.jpg[/t]
looks like some messed up shit that wouldn't be unfitting in games like stalker
when i was a kid i used to absolutely fear snails (they still make me feel a bit uneasy) also the thought of being tortured i never want to experience it in my life
Not necessarily the game this is from but the idea that I will one time look out my window at night and see something like this.
honestly not flaming, but why? like what about the cotton balls terrify you? i know fear is irrational but there must be a certain aspect of it you can think of that just horrifies you
The look, feel and sound of them when squeezing them. They are not fucking natural and they will always freak me out.
I'm scared that my mind will play tricks on me in the dark. I fear that thinking about creepy things at night will cause me to hallucinate them.
