My first day of actually working in the kitchen, I got hit on by the gay guy of the store. Pretty funny/cool guy.

It was fucking terrible. It wasn't enjoyable in the least, I hated every second of it. I was put on host training so I had to follow the hostess around for five hours, not knowing what I'm supposed to be doing, while getting bitched at nonstop by the managers mother. We had to stand around and do nothing for two hours because Tuesdays are just slow and then all of a sudden it picks up and becomes ridiculous hectic with 28 people coming in at once wanting to be seated, and that was still considered a slow day. I hope he puts me in the kitchen washing dishes or something. It's hot as hell in there but at least I can be left to just do. Oh and they bitched at me when I showed up because I wasn't dressed in uniform but they had never told me what to wear. They never mentioned any uniform.
