I fucking hate it that most trailers show all the best bits in the game, but when I play it through, there was nothing else in it.
It would've been way better if Volition kept the [sp]Haddaway - What is Love scene[/sp] in SR4 and the "Gat is back" thing a secret instead of having it just a part of the marketing.

"uncommon opinions"
BRINK WAS INCREDIBLY FUN.
I feel that the story of Dead Space 2 got a little too far, especially towards the end.
[sp]Especially that huge marker thing. When I got to that stage my mind was all fucked up :v: I had no idea what was going on anymore. Where did that huge marker come from? Did Isaac build it? Why didn't we get to know more about that? And what's the deal with all the markers they were building? Was it an attempt to get a new source of electricity but they failed and unleashed horrible things instead? One log says that the marker was supposed to eliminate the need of planet cracking.[/sp]
The Mile High Club in Call of Duty 4 was easier on Veteran than most people think.
Only took me 15 minutes, while I see people ranting and raving that it took them hours or days.
I think that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City was quite a unique and great game online (PC) after a couple of patches and the amount of hate it got was greatly exaggerated.
TF2 has a good F2P model, but a terrible implementation.
What Valve did to TF2 is like turning a Rolls Royce into a Monstertruck. Sure it's still the same car and a lot of people think the change only made it more awesome, but there was never anything wrong with the car to begin with and the people who liked the original car can't really enjoy it in the same way anymore.
This post is exactly how I feel about TF2.
It just feels that they milked everyone's money who paid for it, then went LOLOLOL have some hats, threw together some items and hats and started letting people pay for keys etc. It just signalled the end of the game as a game and it becoming a money making venture and a tool to get people to open a Steam Account so they can coax money out of people with Steam Wallet and sales etc.
TF2 was in my opinion the flagship game and now I have this bitter twisted dislike of people who started playing after me (NOTE: 2 years after) and have a fuckton of hats and weapons, all the shit you can unlock and are just jumping around spamming emotes and I'm sat there looking at TF2 like, "what happened to you man?"
not sure if this is actually an unpopular opinion but the plot of the MGS series is so fucking stupid

Trust me. It Is unpopular.

As a MGS fan, I can admit this and still love the story.
Johnny Cage is the best Character in Mortal Kombat
Fable 3 isn't terrible :v:
It really isn't, it's just simplified/dumbed down like hell compared to the older games - but it looks great, the side quests were great and often really funny. I enjoyed my playthrough from start to end.

And this comes from someone who absolutely loves the first Fable and disliked Fable 2 at first.
As a person who only played fable 3, I can say without bias I enjoyed it.
I still think that the TF2 economy is a war (not a flame war. A real war) waiting to happen.
Johnny Cage is the best Character in Mortal Kombat
I always pick him when I play against a friend, he's so annoyed by it because of his bullshit attacks and X-ray :v:
throwing money and funding at a video game does not make it better, giving time and care does. there are plenty of free resources out there to make a good game from the ground up.

For some reason, I'm reminded of Serious Sam, a GOTY from 2001 which at the same time, had an almost non-existent budget.
Fallout 3 is actually one of my favorite games, and I prefer it to New Vegas.
Minecraft hasn't had any good new content for 3 years

How is this an uncommon opinion?
Duke Nukem Forever was pretty good

IndieGoGo and Kickstarter.
IndieGoGo and Kickstarter.
I think the issue with crowd funding is that people mistake it for a pre-order.
I think that BF3 was disappointing and BF4 will follow and end up like the CoD's
I think BFBC2 and BF2 were the best battlefield games
Max Payne 3 is one of the most anger-inducing games I have played (Ending sequence.. fuck you ten times over) but still a fun and solid game
Call of Duty 4 multi is one of the most solid multiplayer games ive played as there is a equal balance between satisfaction, competition as well as fun and simplicity
I've never played it, so I can't talk about how good or bad it is. But Kingdom Hearts sounds like most retarded idea for a game ever created. Couldn't think of a more fitting word.
It's random anime people meet Disney characters, I can't help but laugh when I see it.
As a person who only played fable 3, I can say without bias I enjoyed it.
You should definitely give Fable 2 a try, it's basically exactly like Fable 2 except without the dumbing down, it also has more to do, and I think it's longer too. Better characters too.
Fable: The Lost Chapters is even better in my opinion, but while Fable 3 is practically the same game as Fable 2, Fable: The Lost Chapters and Fable 2 are similar and you can tell they're in the same series but they're very different.
[editline]8th August 2013[/editline]
Fable: The Lost Chapters is my all time favourite game... hmm that may actually be an uncommon opinion :v:
How is this an uncommon opinion?
It isn't, but almost everybody reads the title as "Shit to complain about in video games"
Nox is a really great rpg and definitly underrated.

Everyone LOVED THAT GAME but I never had any interest and I've watched friends play most of it back when it was fairly new and it just looked boring.
I found the Bioshock games to be really boring and not fun at all. Haven't played the new one yet though, thinking about it.
Contrary to popular belief, team stacking is not a valid strategy.
Also, Engineer is like the only class in TF2 that can play 2 games at once
