Did not enjoy Bioshock Infinite at all, thought it was a pretty shit game. I think The Last of Us is mediocre at best.
aesthetics are important
I liked the pointless bullshit in Duke Nukem Forever that had nothing to do with the story, such as spinning chairs, brewing a pot of coffee, and watching a vibrator fall off a desk and rattle everywhere. Actually, I just like interactivity in general.
i think you should look up the definition of an opinion
Okay, let me try again. I think there are no russians in Dota 2.
Okay, let me try again. I think there are no russians in Dota 2.
this chart says otherwise.
While many think Gmod has lost its charm, I think it's still fun, especially in modes such as Jailbreak and TTT. Sandbox is also great with friends.
Castle Crashers and Magicka are atrocities and I regret buying them. Even the "fun with friends" thing doesn't even apply. It's just insufferably boring. I really didn't like No More Heroes gameplay. It felt far too simple and mashy to me, but I loved the setting and characters and overall visual style of the game. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is a good game. Twilight Princess is my favorite of the 3D LOZ games (though I haven't played MM), and I much prefer the 3D games to the 2D ones.
Postal 3 is a good game.
I dislike games with competitive multiplayer in general. But I absolutely love Co-op multiplayer in games
Medic role is awesome to play. I just get a sense of satisfaction from a few things from it: I help others live longer and by extension let them keep up the fight. I don't need to expose myself to gunfire as much, letting me live longer, thus the above. Weird satisfaction of seeing the healthbar fill up as the player receives the heals. Free points a lot of the time. Sometimes they actually take time to actually thank you for the help.
I also love doing this, whether the Medic role in TF2 or the Medic role in Battlefield.
HL2 needed more exotic/alien enemies. I missed houndeyes and bullsquids.
Its mainly to do with childhood nostalgia that people lose their shit over Nintendo
whoa now im not even a big Nintendo fan, i think they need to get some shit together in.regards to their recurring ips, including zelda, but majoras mask is one of the best games ever made and i played through it all the way again recently, like last year, and i dont get nostalgia goggles on games
I absolutely hate DayZ. The first few sessions were fun. Exploring the Chernarussian wilderness at night was amazing, at first. But other than the novelty of my first couple times playing it, it really blows. Buggy zombies, always running through doors, glitching through walls, aggro-ing on to me from seemingly random distances unless I'm laying down and barely moving. They take such random paths to the player as to render shooting them in close combat impossible. Also, DayZ has really put a fat dent in the ARMA community. I can't find a regular Operation Arrowhead co-op match these days. Why? Because everyone has to host a DayZ server, thousands upon thousands of them, everyone has to have their own private hive or modded DayZ mode or whatever clogging the server list. Operation Arrowhead is sooo good on it's own, and even better with ACE, but all I ever see is "JOIN MA WASTELAND/DAYZ SERVER". DayZ made ARMA 2 go from "the most immersing, intense, thrilling tactical shooter on the market" to "oh, that random game you need so you can play DayZ!" Disgusting, if you ask me.
I still prefer old games (Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior Redux) to new games like Call of Duty. It's not a nostalgia complex either, I started playing video games when the modern military shooter trend had already taken it's grip. I'd rather get some gameplay from the 7 Hour War rather than the iceberg ship crash thing that HL3 will take us on if it ever comes out.
Postal 3 is a good game.
have you not played postal 2?
Okay, let me try again. I think there are no russians in Dota 2.
Sam and I beg to differ.
this chart says otherwise.
I think you missed the "Not necessarily based on facts" part of the definition. He could just not have met any Russians. [editline]After[/editline] The more realism there are in games, the less they appeal to me. Games like Battlefield looks boring, and then I tried one, it was. Of course, gameplay over graphics (which is why I loved the Batman Arkham games.)
CS 1.6 is pretty shitty. Actually so is CS:GO. CS:S #1 CS game.
have you not played postal 2?
Yes, and Postal 1. I still like Postal 3.
DayZ made ARMA 2 go from "the most immersing, intense, thrilling tactical shooter on the market" to "oh, that random game you need so you can play DayZ!" singleplayer fps's are boring unless they have a story worth playing through
Valve should never make a Games Market where people can Buy/Sell/Trade Games because then ever game would be like 10 cents
And so DayZ will have a standalone and Arma 3 will be free of its influence. It left a sort of stain that I have to deal with every time I play ARMA 2.
bioshock infinite is a fucking pile of shit both in its own right AND compared to the first two games it's honestly one of the most disastrous titles I've ever had the misfortune of spending money on [editline]29th July 2013[/editline] the Crysis games are all fantastic, with the first one being one of the best games ever made
Oblivion is probably the worst Elder Scrolls game.
super mario sunshine > super mario galaxy imo
super mario sunshine > super mario galaxy imo
they're pretty different games, though.
Those "Planet Side 2 is unoptimized" jokes stopped being funny by the time the game was actually released because by then the game actually was optimized.
Those "Planet Side 2 is unoptimized" jokes stopped being funny by the time the game was actually released because by then the game actually was optimized.
are you playing a different planetside 2 than everyone else?
Duke Nukem Forever was an okay game. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the best splitscreen experience since Goldeneye.
Dragon Age: Origins is a masterpeice of tactical roleplaying.
