Yeah.. I remember peacefully building a giant death car with saw blades and stuff on it, only to have mingebags make all my parts transparent and throw them everywhere... Which turned into a war of flying invisible shit.
Which ended in my gmod crashing... (like everything else tended to do)
That was before they added prop protection stuff though.

Started with gmod 8, had fun with gmod 9, quit with gmod 10
Garry's Mod almost never gets old. Once you get tired of one gamemode, move to a different one. And they don't stop making them either, plus the addons.
Yes I played it but I'm not going to waste my vote on a silly poll.
Played gmod 9 all the time. Bought gmod 10, played for a while. Stopped playing it for a couple of months. Came back to find a shit load of mods I didn't even know existed. Tried to catch up. Which in turn made it impossible to get back into. Never played again.
