Can an Abortion Doctor Legally Tell You Not To Get An Abortion - General

Orphanges/foster care would open my child up to a world of abuse and neglect I don't want anybody to go through. I know two kids who grew up with both parents in prison, so they were in foster care. They both are pretty dumb, have scars from being beaten and both are in and out of jail. I don't think that adoption is a good choice. Yes a doctor can and should (for the sake of being a human being with a bunch of humanity in him) advise you against abortion. Everyone keeps asking the question "at what point does a fetus start being human" but no one ask the question: Since when does man stops being man? Isn't it a basic human right to be able to be born - regardless of weather your child is your gift or your accident - and making his own choices in the future? I mean are we so important to deny that? Is our little adventure and daily life really superior to giving a Human being the oportunity to live and make his own choices? Guys, fucking chill. ATribeCalledQ, the decision you took was between you and your girlfriend. From what I've read, it was the right choice in your current situation. You're not some kind of monster. I know such a choice can hit you hard emotionally, so get some (well deserved) rest. Also, please support your girlfriend. She's in this even more than you. As for what others said. Abortion isn't ever an easy decision, but it is part of our world. There is always a time and a place to use it, and when such a situation arises, the posibility to even have the choice is good. What kind of choice you take depends on yourself and you are free to make that decision for yourself and your partner. No one's refusing to do anything. It's just a doctor, who probably has done hundreds of abortions, seen everything from people who regretted it deeply to people who went through it like getting their nails done and is giving an honest opinion to something that's irreversible so for you to make sure you're making the right decision.
