the customers that frequent my cinema are a real bunch of winners sometimes I'm just awestruck at the things they try to tell us examples, some dude got a readmission pass like a month ago because he had to dip out of his film early due to some kind of emergency fast forward to the other day where he tries to trade this pass in for like 5 tickets spends half an hour arguing with the box office guy because he can't fathom the concept of 1=1. it says so right on the fucking paper. about a week ago this woman came up to me (i was the doorman for the night) confused as to where she should go, despite the fact that her theater number is on her ticket and I had given her clear instructions not 10 minutes ago. she pulls out her receipt, pointing to the number 16 (shows how many auditoriums our cinema has) and claims that her ticket says 16 but the movie playing in that auditorium is a different movie. I ask to see her ticket, she says this is all she has. Ok. No problem. I take a look at the door schedule and tell her where her movie is. Theater 4. Problem solved. Wrong. "...but my ticket says auditorium 16..." again, ma'am, that's your receipt. the movie is in auditorium 4, on your left. "...but there's nowhere that says 4...it just says 16..." that's part of the cinema's name, ma'am. It's not where your movie is. "...so why isn't it in 16?" Look, ma'am, I will [i]eat my own legs[/i] in front of you if your movie isn't in 4. I promise you that's where it is. how hard is this shit, seriously

People not understanding that when someone says "So you are saying that......", 90% of the time it's a trap and if you say 'yes', the other guy will probably have a good argument you can not counter. Most of the time that's how it goes and people don't seem to realize this. Sucks when someone is arguing for you and falls into a trap like that. Could just explain your argument again without saying yes or no and that usually works.
