Been using an AMD GPU for like two years now, no problems at all. The only problem I ever had was because they fucked something up and the mouse "lagged" on the top right corner. Other than that it's been working perfectly. You must be doing something wrong if it breaks EVERYTHING and is instantly crashing upon opening the application.
