It's actually a form of anxiety, lots of people have fears like that. I used to get it ocassionally, but I realized it's just stupid and kinda laughable, the one thing you shouldn't do it continually think about it and let it prolong and grow into something worse.
When the people I'm working with are morons.

Use exclamation marks inappropriately! That often lightens the mood for me, although it can be hella confusing for the person on the other side.
I was playing WoW all happy today, and then I get invited to a raid with some guildmates and some other guild. So I was third for DPS hitting 16k-23k and people start getting kicked from the raid. So I asked why people were getting kicked and our apparent "uberfuckingawesomeatWoW" raid leader tells me that they weren't contributing to the raid and that their DPS was too low. Everyone's DPS was higher than his and then he kicks me. Now I'm pissed and I want to kill someone.
When my friends want to argue about politically "sensitive" topics. It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen.
When I have no idea what conversations are about.

Oh that DPS meter, gear meter and bla bla. So dumb. Has to be perfect or fuck off!
All I've heard from people who participated in a lot of raids at least. Then they made it into their virtual work, fucking sad.
Whenever people talk about me, the only thing I ever usually hear them talk about is my intelligence. I never hear anything like "Spencer is such a nice guy" or "Spencer is quite funny" or anything like that. It's always "Spencer is such a smart guy" and "Spencer is going to be so successful one day" and stuff like that. I mean, yes, I appreciate it. It's nice to hear people say good things about me. I just wish people would mention my other positive features instead of talking about my intelligence as if it's all I've got.

I want to merge all these "Shit that gets you x" threads. Essentially merge the communities into one giant Fast Threads orgy thread.
I want to call it the "Facepunch Vent". When this thread gets locked, we could totally do it, but in order for this to happen, I would need to get the OP(s) of this thread, and the Shit that gets you happy thread.
The reason I want to do this is that it's actually a little annoying and weird to categorize ourselves and to not talk to each other because of what we're feeling sometimes. I always come in here wanting to share good news, because you guys are really cool friends, but it's simply the wrong thread. I think it'd be a lot easier to have one main discussion vent thread. This would also allow people to talk about other issues that make them neither happy or sad.
What do you guys think?
