How people say that the ME series has the most advanced technology in a sci-fi series ever. Yeah fucking right: >They still need "bullets" for most of their weapons >Only energy weapons used are lasers, particle accelerators, and lighting weaponry >Shields are rather primitive in that they need repulsive ME fields to actually protect against anything >Still can't build a proper sapient AI without it wanting to kill everything >Still can't have ships that have actually decent FTL drives and need giant ass railguns to move ships long distances >Don't use nanomachines to heal wounds and instead use some sort weird-ass organism to do so >Their electronic warfare capabilities are pretty shitty >Three words: No. Tanks. Whatsoever. >Sensors are EXTREMELY shitty They might be advanced in comparison to today's tech. But they hardly use any sort of superscience. So in comparison to other sci-fi universes, they're actually pretty low tech.

The kid I got into a fight with, his mom actually was concerned of my health, so that reassured my faith in humanity +1. Also, I saw that the kid had his wrist in a cast so I told my friends "My face is made of steel!". But seriously, the fact that the kid's mom was concerned of my health was heartwarming.
