So yesterday (technically yesterday, it's 12:30 AM...) I had a mix of a bad and good day. I hate it when that happens, because I have this weird tick where I must evaluate what my day was like toward the end. If I can't decide it drives me up the wall, across the ceiling and back again in a full shuttle loop. Anyways, we went to a really cool aquarium I've been to a million times before (yet I still love it), bringing my boyfriend along so he could see it for the first time. Then we went to TGI Friday's to eat, then to Dave & Busters to play some arcade games to kick my boyfriend's ass at Daytona USA (and so mom could hoard more tickets), then went to Jungle Jim's (a really huge supermarket with stuff from all over the world) and got some tasty stuff, then went home. Sounds like a pretty good day, right? Well here's the bad parts. After eating at Friday's, my digestive system was in shambles. I felt absolutely horrible and wanted to just go home and sleep. Though, for mom and the bf, I pressed on and felt better after we got to Dave & Busters. Still don't feel too great but massively better. That right there almost ruined the whole thing. On top of that, my best friend whom I haven't seen for over a year was supposed to visit on her spring break. She lives in South Carolina and we live in Ohio. Mom & dad can't drive that far in one day, nor can her mom drive her because of not having a car. So they came up with the idea of her mom's friend driving her to Knoxville and meeting with us in the middle. Hunky dory, we can do that! Found out that morning that... NOPE. Ain't gonna happen. Her mom was going to pay for the gas, but they're kind of poor-ish, and her mom's paycheck was way smaller then they expected. So she can't pay for the gas, nor can her friend, and we are out of options. Mom, being the super awesome problem solver she is, is trying to come up with a way to do this since she wants her here too, because she's like family and my parents love her as much as I do, and there's still 5 days till the time we were going to leave to get her.... So my fingers are crossed but I don't have much hope. And besides, later on in the year, we're going to Florida for a week and she said she knows she can go on that, because we can just pick her up along the way. And it's not nearly as bad of a strain on my parents because they take 2 1/2 days to get there. Still though, I hate waiting....
