GTA Vice City had something like this, you needed at least 5 (I think) "assets", and a main one called the printworks, in order to proceed to the last mission. It didn't say this anywhere, which was a pain, because I was without internet when I got to that point.

Cobain himself said that he was terrible at actually playing guitar. That's why Nirvana songs are so simplistic. As for me, I never liked most of the music that came out of the 90s aside from a few select groups. I really hate how speed metal and virtuoso guitarists being popular died at the end of the 80s.
