To me, to be a cosplay item would have to be like, a mask or actual large wings and the like, not just a... Hoodie. Then again there are those people who make "cute humanized versions of non-human characters", but still I just find that just more of wearing clothes in the likeness of a character then actually [I]cosplaying[/I] as them. Oh well.

I knew someone who dressed in all black and almost looked like a goth. I got to know them and they were actually very nice and happy.
