People are always going to judge due to things we find socially acceptable. If I walked downtown with a dragon suit on people would laugh and judge because it's not socially normal.

You've got the right thoughts, just not for the real world You should check it out. People judge you by your appearance there. People hurt people's feelings there. Dragon hoodies look awful there. I know it'd be better if it was the way you say it, but it's not. There are so many utopic ideologies that, if followed, would make the world much better, but unfortunately, they don't work, because the world isn't perfect, and everyone is an asshole. It's how I think, it's my way of "dealing with it", because, in the real world, your appearance WILL matter. You may think following the masses is wrong, but sometimes, you need to do just that.

After all, it's impossible to accurately assess [I]everyone[/I] you meet, and sometimes it's a good thing to do so, like staying away from someone (or some[I]thing)[/I] who appears drunk/dangerous/shady/diseased. Personally, I barely even care about my appearance, as long as I'm presentable. I dress as plainly as possible. Which is funny, because I'm a neat freak.

But out with a couple of friends, dicking around, not doing anything serious, that's where I see it as acceptable. Where I'm going that's not just dicking around, I would prefer to dress more.... "acceptably." They still have my own twists, but they're not completely off the planet and out of this universe twists. So I can see where you're coming from. Gah, another thing that gets me mad. When a subject wraps around my head so much and causes my opinions to blow out of proportion then what I really feel.
