My brony friends used to keep sending me links to episodes, then got confused when, after I watched them, I mentioned I didn't find the show appealing.

I won't give two shits if you like it, and say you like it, or hell, even talk about it (preferably in a designated thread/forum) as long as it's not shoved in my face, like it usually is. And to be honest I don't care if your Steam name is something like Flutterdash and you have a pony avvie, I'll just think less of you for it the same reason I would any other: It's not original, and it's annoyingly overused. Take memes, more SPECIFICALLY rage faces. Every other person I see has TROLLFACE as an avatar, and the username something like "u mad?" and "awesome smiley". How am I supposed to PROPERLY adress you when speaking and not get confused with another, and I won't want to talk to you for the obvious reason of avoiding having to say "Heal me [I]Rainbow Dash[/I]".
