So basically if you found $50 on a sidewalk you'd rush to find out who's it is?
Apples and oranges [editline]7th April 2012[/editline]
A locked one with no information other than the name of the iPod. Not even a photo backgrounder.
The person who owns it knows the lock code but you erased that
Thats an interesting point but how does it change the fact what you did was incredibly shitty and selfish? I could forgive someone for pocketing money they found on the street, but 250 dollars is a lot to lose.
$200 Plus, it's comparable to losing $200 on the street. It's a shame to lose it, but you should watch where you put things next time. Plus there isn't a photo of them on the lock background, so you don't have any information aside from the first name which isn't helpful except for narrowing it down to hundreds of people.
$200 Plus, it's comparable to losing $200 on the street. This isn't logic fuckbrain.

No identifying information aside from the name of the iPod which is Ashley's iPod. Would potentially be a lot more that could lead to being returned if you knew the lock code. Not much to work from is it? [editline]7th April 2012[/editline]
Girls who get raped should just watch what they wear next time, people who get mugged should just watch who they run into.
Again. No identifying information aside from the name of the iPod which is Ashley's iPod. Would potentially be a lot more that could lead to being returned if you knew the lock code. Not much to work from is it?
SHUT THE FUCK UP. OH HEY HERES AN IDEA. A COP/THE BUS COMPANY/WHOEVER GETS A CALL FROM A GIRL NAMED ASHLEY SAYING SHE'S LOST AN IPOD. THAT SAME YOUNG DAY A NICE PERSON TURNS IN AN IPOD WITH THE NAME ASHLEY ON IT. GEE THIS IS DIFFICULT. WHO'S COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?
SHUT THE FUCK UP. OH HEY HERES AN IDEA. A COP/THE BUS COMPANY/WHOEVER GETS A CALL FROM A GIRL NAMED ASHLEY SAYING SHE'S LOST AN IPOD.
that is not epic at all
It's better than the arsefuzz I get that doesn't even have any pigment
Calm down please.
if you'd just admit you don't want to try and get it back because you're too lazy/inconsiderate then this would be over
Again. No identifying information aside from the name of the iPod which is Ashley's iPod. Would potentially be a lot more that could lead to being returned if you knew the lock code. Not much to work from is it?
That's a hell of a lot to work from a) You could put up signs or something saying that you found one and you'll give it to the person who knows the password b) Give it to the bus driver c) Look for signs that say something about a missing ipod These ideas are all simple and don't take much thinking to conjure up.
You just compared losing money to being raped and mugged. They aren't even close to being the same.
Things happen, it's not the fault of a girl if she gets raped and it's not your fault if you drop money.
Stop intentionally causing shitstorms.
I never said I was intentionally causing shitstorms. What made you think I was?
You're missing the point. We think you're an idiot because you have money and don't know the value of it, and furthermore you don't even work for the money/things you do get. You take peoples stuff because you have this childish mindset of 'ohwell my daddy can afford to replace it surely they can too'.
Seriously, not everything is going to be sugarcoated. You CAN'T possibly expect somebody to go on a quest to look for you if you forgot a valuable item somewhere. I would do the same thing, and wouldn't have a second thought about it. It IS their fault for being irresponsible. I check my pocket for my belongings at least 10 times on the bus, they probably should've done the same too. If somebody is irresponsible enough to lose something like that, then they obviously didn't deserve said item.
-snip-
Not much to work with here!
you put up posters saying 'ey yo someone called ashley dropped their Ipod and we got the thing, if you can prove it's yours ring X number' that'd probably do the trick
you put up posters saying 'ey yo someone called ashley dropped their Ipod and we got the thing, if you can prove it's yours ring X number' that'd probably do the trick
unfortunate that it's already been formatted.
The most responsible person in the world has a chance of leaning back too far while riding a bus
Check your pockets. I do it all the time when I'm riding the bus.
Man I have 5 jalapenos yesterday. Now today I had to shit em back out. If my asshole could talk, he'd ask for a tall glass of milk.
Check your pockets. I do it all the time when I'm riding the bus.
Can you please stop ignoring most of what I'm saying
Can you please stop ignoring most of what I'm saying
they obviously aren't going to respond to something that they're blatantly in the wrong about
snip, my idiocy is shining through here
Can you please stop ignoring most of what I'm saying
Even if you leant back too much you should still check your pockets.
why is everyone so mad about the internet
TL;DR: HorizoN fails to understand basic decency, doesn't understand why people hate her. I'm done, this argument is going nowhere because you are simply incapable of understanding any of the points we're all making.
I am going to find you, and pickpocket all of your electronic devices, and just take them. After all, they aren't that expensive, right?
Even if you leant back too much you should still check your pockets.
Here, allow me to direct you to what I meant. "You're not following this very well You've fucked up all chances of returning it We are just trying to get it through your head that what you did is wrong" "That's a hell of a lot to work from a) You could put up signs or something saying that you found one and you'll give it to the person who knows the password b) Give it to the bus driver c) Look for signs that say something about a missing ipod These ideas are all simple and don't take much thinking to conjure up." (The second one isn't exactly relevant anymore though since you erased everything)
Been a while since I've seen an argument stretch into pages. Guys, stop.
