[sp]why is no one else freaking out????[/sp]
I was sort of scared an hour or two ago.
[sp]why is no one else freaking out????[/sp]
its a genuine worry but I feel like this isn't the best place to express those concerns idk I feel like the conversation here never really gets heady or that serious except for occasional mental health stuff I guess [editline]7th April 2017[/editline] it is fucking horrendous and the possible consequences are really goddamn worrying but yeah
my power keeps going out every few minutes its like im phasing in and out of existance save me from this hell
[sp]why is no one else freaking out????[/sp]
Because doing that will be counter productive. Maintaining your cool in situations like these is what's important. Besides, nothing most people here can do, but sit and wait.
at the end of the day i'm hoob

Im gonna go to bed because these fuckinf power outs happening every 5 minutes are starting to piss me off
[sp]why is no one else freaking out????[/sp]
While this is a considerable escalation, I don't think things will escalate too much between Russia and the US given that the Russians were warned beforehand and no personnel were targeted. Increased rhetoric from both sides at most; Trump's already blown his load as far as justifications for bombing the Syrian government are concerned.
[sp]why is no one else freaking out????[/sp]
all i care about is crab, lobster and cod
Whatever you're afraid of, at least we're not going to get nuked. Mutually assured destruction and all that.
But [sp]russia warned him not to do anything spontaneous..im going to be sick[/sp]
Russia was warned ahead of time.
[sp]i am constantly reminded that this man is a fucking "celebrity" and has NOTHING to do with political backings.. [/sp] Can you imagine if Kim Kardashian was President?????
woah [editline]6th April 2017[/editline] hey guys
i can only be arsed to cook when its not just me eating but now it is time to make 2 great breakfasts 2 hashbrowns each with marble cheese on top 3 breakfast pork sausages 1 egg lightly salted and peppered 1 piece of toast yum
what if jerry seinfeld was president?
Can you imagine if Kim Kardashian was President?????
Please no.
what if i didn't have this sharp pain in my chest every time i took a breath?
ok... so syria was just bombed by the US.. UM...
Calm down, nothing is going to happen. It's not as major of a thing as the news is saying, it was a legitimate military target and Russia was notified of the attack + said they won't make a big deal out of it news is making a big deal out of it but in a week, this will barely be remembered by the media.
Kim Kardashian would prob be a better president than Trump at least she knows how to run a business.
But [sp]russia warned him not to do anything spontaneous..im going to be sick[/sp]
Oh don't get me wrong, i'm certain Vlad the Chechen Impaler is furious his little Trumpling is going off script; but this was a specific attack against what the US claims was the source of a chemical attack. If Trump wants to continue bombing the Syrian government, he's going to have to come up with another reason, and fight both members of his own party and some of the Democrats in the process. Russia, for their part, can't do much but waggle fingers if proof emerges chemical weapons were deployed from there, unless they want to look like even bigger assholes. They can only rely on RT to swing opinion so far. If the chemical source turns out to be bollocks, at most Russia might withdraw cooperation when it comes to fighting ISIS. In any case, they were warned ahead of time and lost none of their own people or equipment. And even if worst comes to worst, nobody wants to go to war with each other less than Russia and the US (and nuclear powers in general), no matter what politicians from either side say.
i will fight them all amnd win

Weird that out of all the shit Trump has pulled in the last 3 months an actual missile strike is the one I'm least concerned about. Assuming it is what it sounds like it was a legitimate retaliation against an airbase that very likely was the source of chemical weapon attacks against civilians and the only thing targeted was the base itself and no people. Russia was apparently warned beforehand and it looks like they're starting to back away from Assad a bit.
What if good ol' Arnie became president?
When can we start having the Gundam Battles instead of war?
Trump would most likely be covered fully to do this under the War Powers Act unless it was way more extreme than it sounds like. At the end of the day people like Trump being in power can be very scary but Trump isn't the only one in the White House right now and most of the other people don't wan't the world to literally end.

Like literally made them break their bones until they died on the spot so they cant hurt other people ;-; [/sp]
I mean I would prefer if missiles weren't being launched at things but I'd also prefer if people weren't dying horrifically to poison gas attacks from their own government.
