why does everyone have an insane hate for furries?
these must be answered so i can complete my quest for knowledge of the facepunching!
You do seem to be optimistic enough about your thoughts.

Why the fuck did bu- oh right... that thread.
Go fuck yourself.
Oh so you are a attention whore, and yet you hate them? God damn you are JUST THE WORST TYPE OF FUCKING PERSON. A 13 year old girl furry that draws furry porn, and is a hypocrite. CAN YOU GET ANY WORSE? I MEAN HITLER IS A BETTER PERSON!
If you enjoy looking a furry porn that means you're a zoophilia. That's not something to brag about.
This may seem like I'm sympathizing, but it applies to any fandom really:
In my opinion there is nothing wrong with furries. As a group, nothing is wrong with them. What draws negative attention is the people who cannot stop flaunting it wherever they go. One person can put a bad first impression upon any group they say they are a part of by doing that. If a person enjoys the furry fandom or whatever they prefer to call it, cool, do whatever you want, if it fits your preference, be a part of it. But if you start trying to force it onto other people, then it's where I personally draw the line.
Be a part of the fandom, not so you can flaunt it to other people, but because -you- personally enjoy it.
In short, if you like the furry fandom, by all means, be a part of it. Just don't try to force an opinion/idea onto someone else.
Hmmm, I'll make some comparisons here.
Typically on the internet you have 3 groups of people who seem similar.
Those 3 are furries, weeaboos and bronies.
All of those share the common interest in 2d art of different forms.
To me, what sets furries out from the other 2 is that their whole interest is a lot more. Though it varies from furry to furry, the typical one can be seen as gay/bisexual and exteremly flamboyant about their interests.
All 3 of those groups share that as well but it's more so common in furries then the others. Plus being a furry can also have a deeper level of interest to the point of wanting to actually fuck animals.
I'll admit furries can be downright annoying and "weird" most of the time but despite that I like to consider myself "accepting" of furries.
All in all, things go back to generalizing and stereotyping. Which can be true or not in most cases.
(excuse me if I have no idea what I'm talking about, i'm tried as fuck and tipsy)

If you enjoy looking at furry porn you're suddenly a fetish for screwing animals?
Bad grammar aside you are entirely wrong. Some furries might want to screw animals but not all of them. And not all people who want to screw animals are furries. They are not mutually exclusive concepts.
I'm fine with every fetish. If you have some crazy incest scat pedo loli bestiality rape fetish, I'll give you as much respect as I do anyone else. I only protest if you shove it in our faces for whatever reason, or if the practice of indulging your fetish involves the exploitation of minors, animals, or anything else that cannot give consent.
Don't fuck kiddies or animals in real life and you're alright with me.
[editline]17th September 2011[/editline]
Also don't be an attention whore, hypocrite, or think you're genuinely original and shove shit in other's faces.. You're just being a cunt. This applies to every fandom, fetish, clique, or anything that you think sets you apart.
they're weird
Because for the most part, it's a fetish and people treat it as a lifestyle that they need special status for.
When was the last time you saw someone with a fetish being awkwardly open about it, having a special persona relating to his/her fetish, using obnoxious terminology relating to his/her fetish and then getting aggressively defensive about it when people start to question the odd behavior?
To be honest, that isn't normal. Furries who act that way aren't fucking normal. Not saying normal is the 'way to be' these days, but stop fucking writing it off as normal. I'm a furfag, big whoop. If it wasn't for the topic, I don't really bring it up. Do I hang around other furries? No shit. Do I go around telling everyone person I meet on the internet that I am one? Fuck no.
The one nice benefit that furries have is that most of them are really open-minded. And if you can get over the really open sexuality and helter-skelter personalities/maturity of some of the members, having people to talk to who have open ears, hearts and minds is a really nice thing; no matter how fucked up in the head they are. Some of them are really cool people, too.
Thus is life. If there's a community, the loudest will always prevail. The majority will be stereotypical. A minority won't. And a small number will actually be decent, honest and interesting individuals with lives.
