Oh fuck. I remember going to my friends house and setting up a lan network to play Speedy Eggbert, we'd make levels and play multiplayer on them.

We were also mad into hot wheels and making race tracks for them, especially in this game.
You could make your own tracks or play some pretty sweet premade levels that included practically a whole house that went down stairs, over tables, under a cat's tail, through loops and finally crashing and breaking a TV.

And the backyard level! How did I forget? Down slides, into sandboxes, through more loops, and boosters!

I remember making a race track at his house (an actual track, not on the computer game) that started on his computer desk, went down a ramp, through a booster which boosted it through a series of tracks that included loops, jumps, and a shit load of track that led through a doorway into what was a storage room (Now a play center for the daycare his mother now runs) went through more loops, a booster, making a turn into his laundry room through ANOTHER booster and ANOTHER turn into the basement bathroom jumping over the toilet through the 2nd doorway on the other side of the bathroom to where it made it's final jump into his dad's wastebasket next to his desk.
Here is a crudely drawn memory of the racetrack, it's been awhile since I've seen his basement.

I was pretty excited while I drew this, and while typing I made so many spelling mistakes because of how shaky my hands were from the nostalgia.

Dear god I miss the 90s. Television was so much better then.
6 pages, and no mention of this game?

Sometimes I think people mistake having fun with a game as a child for a game being actually good.
I'm not saying the games are bad, I'm just saying that it's unfair to feel negatively of newer games because you didn't have as many fun times playing them as a kid.
Let see...

My computer class in elementary school mostly consisted of playing Bugdom. I beat the game only twice in my 5 years there.

Oh my God, I remember playing this game when I was younger, but never got to know what it was called :saddowns:
Which C&C game is this?
I still can believe you guys played RTS games when you were young. Stuff like that would have bored me to tears.
Turok, Banjo Tooie, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask are what entertained me.

I loved seeing that for some reason. It just looked cool.
Now progress bars on games look like boring old lines moving horizontally across the screen.
Damn you guys, you made me pull out an old fucking album of these games and now I'm installing them.
I've been having a crisis of nostalgia recently. For various reasons I've been able to go back to a lot of places I associated with my childhood, from a holiday home we rented every summer to the place we got christmas trees every year. Almost every single place I visit again has been knocked down, paved over, redecorated, under new ownership, closed to the public, etc.
:smith:
I was playing old games for about 3 hours, I kept replaying them and found an old Freddi Fish.
I beat that in like 2 minutes. Jesus christ.
