Dyed hair can sometimes work, but for me only obvious dyed colours look good. Like I know a girl who had obviously dyed her hair red and it looked great, and then it faded to a pink colour and it still looked good because it suited her. Someone else probably would've looked awful. Girls that dye their hair blonde usually look terrible.
Freckles is the same, depends on the girl. Some look really cute.
