This is just a heads up but tomorrow's post will be half a day later most likely. Around 4-6 PM EST. Perhaps earlier depending on how long my flight is.
its cool
just let the elves take control of erryting
The turn will be posted in about 2 hours, sorry for the extra wait. Long story short, forgot phone in Uncle's car, flight home gets delayed because a panel was missing screws, come home to learn that my mother drove the lawn mower into the ditch and cut the cable for our tv and internet before driving it into a ditch. Was going to write up the draft for the turn on the plane but I forgot my phone so I couldn't access said turns.

Also missing Native Hunter's turn but I'm continuing anyway.

Heads up, if you learn metal working and I say you learn to make copper, you don't need to specify you want to research copper weapons. Its assumed making tools and weapons from it is part of the process.

The Elerase dig deep into the ground to bring up water. Many Elerase think this is useless as the snow is everywhere throughout their lands. However as they expand further south they find that the wells are useful for good clean water without bothering to melt the water.
The Elerase learn to create instruments. They learn to make a instrument made from wood using bronze to control how tight strings made from guts are. These instruments are hard to make but are in heavy demand. People who can play these instruments are in even heavier demand.
In the southern territories citizens learn to plant crops and grow them. It is a rather simple concept however in the far north with the snow falls it is hard to be able to plant a field and watch it grow. This simple thing secures a rather massive food source for the country. Even game is attracted to these easy sources of food, making it easier for hunters to bring meat back to the people.
Mages of Elerase continue their work into their ice. They learn to craft buildings such as igloos or small huts using magic, they learn to breathe ice onto enemies freezing them in their attack. The mages also learn to exist in the cold weather without suffering from the extreme cold.
The people hold a festival for their god. The inventions of farms and instruments make this affair one of the largest in Elerase’s history. Food is plentiful and entertainment is some of the best known in the land. At the end of the festival a snow storm blankets nearly the entire country, leaving some to wonder what it may mean in terms of worship.
Guards patrol the cities of Elerase. It is a good effort on the parts of the guards and many crimes begin to be stopped before they even occur. The people are glad for this sense of protection provided.
No such luck in being found by other nations, however tribes begin moving north bringing tales of large green men who were as strong as 5 men and could shoot flames from their eyes. The tales differ but one thing is the same, there is a force far to the south that is expanding and conquering all those who get in their way.

The dwarves are quick to learn to create stone walls around their cities. The dwarves don’t bother with finding loose rock. They make the bricks for the wall straight from the mountains, crafting the blocks into perfect rectangles and using their knowledge of pulleys to lift them into place. The walls are not tall, but they are a deterrent against Drow raids.
Scholars of the dwarves create a written form of their language. It is complex, containing far to many words for stone of varying types. Lower class dwarves avoid the squiggly lines and focus on their jobs. High born dwarves however find great use in writing and strive to learn it.
The dwarves learn to brew ale. They quickly develop a rather large tolerance to said ale as well. Their discovery of ale has another unintended benefit. The dwarves learn that bandages soaked in ale seem to keep wounds from getting infected and it seems to improve the military’s morale. Some dwarves have taken to going into battle drunk.
Dwarven mages learn to infuse objects with magic. The only spells capable of being infused are light spells however some mages believe they could infuse more powerful magic into objects. These currently enchanted objects can be used by any dwarf. They also learn to use these objects as alarms, becoming lit when drow attempt to sneak up on the Dwarves.
A legion is formed by the dwarves to fight the Drow. This legion is quickly filled by Dwarven troops and many more are signing up for town militias to defend their hometown. The government didn’t even have to tell their people about the drow attack, word of mouth quickly spreading the news faster than expected.
With the invention of writing libraries are formed. These libraries are rather rare and only used by the rich and the noble class. Most of these libraries absolutely refuse to even let books be taken out, and most have a few dozen books at most.
As the dwarves expand south they encounter a massive lake of death. A few dwarves die before they learn that the water from this massive lake is not safe to drink.

The orks build sailing ships of surprising quality. Though most orks do not have the patience to deal with a few dozen other orks in a confined space in the middle of a ocean. Fights aboard these ships are constant and it is scarily common to find a ship return to port with a new captain.
The orks attempt to make new weapons from even stronger materials than their bronze, however they just cannot seem to stoke the fires to get hot enough to melt the iron. Some orks end up exhausting due to the extreme heat of the fires used to try and melt iron ore.
An ork farmer has a brilliant idea, and surprisingly other orks understand him and follow through with his idea. The Catatonians learn that by rotating crops they can grow more food rather than depleting the land of all its nutrients. They may not necessarily realize that this is why crop rotation works, they just know it does work.
Mages of Catatonia become even more powerful with fire magic. Their fireballs are stronger, their flames hotter. They even learn to infuse their weaker powers into weapons. These weapons however are only usable by mages, being out of reach of the rest of the Ork legions. These weapons are scary however, scaring many targeted by Catatonian mages.
Ork tribes are only to glad to give up their sons to the legion. Some orks are even volunteering for the opportunity to fight in a war that will never end. The first legion quickly begins to fill out and a second and third are formed which both fill up to about half strength.
Rumors spread of a secret police in Catatonia, made up by mages and armed with weapons far beyond the power of any Ork. Many become afraid to speak up against the Council, and many smaller tribes surrender to the approaching legions when they learn the secret police approaches.
Luxury resources are made the focus of the Catatonian legions. Some tribes who control these resources quickly learn to run or fortify their positions against the legions. These tribes fall all the same to the Orks, the might of the legions being to strong for them.
It looks like I accidentally send the turn to myself, is it to late?

While the other races harness the power of fire and ice, the dwarfs recreate Sting from Lord of the Rings
