Is the rate that it's dropping actually how fast it is or is it just an estimate?
Wow hurricane electric just embarrassed themselves in the eyes of anyone who is technically inclined. If they really think the ip addresses are depleting at the rate of ~40 per second, they're fucking insane. Odd. [img_thumb]http://i52.tinypic.com/2uoqpt3.png[/img_thumb] Is it just random?
GOOD SIR WE HAVE BEEN BOLLOX'D
What? They were actually too slow. The event they were counting down to (IANA depletion) happened already. They're now about a day late.
I disagree and so does Mark Ward: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-12306573
The addresses in those last five blocks are expected to be completely exhausted by September 2011.
Unless I misinterpreted what that counter is even counting down to. Though, it certainly implies complete net exhaustion.
GOOD SIR WE HAVE BEEN BOLLOX'D
I say...
