Not mine, but I saw her a lot. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/4cnU6vn.jpg?1[/thumb] :3
nice RCS! what grade are they? they look pretty good
hmm, the other two I have in there are probably around S or A . If I get a good opportunity to get a good picture I'll do it, however they're usually either under driftwood/hiding in plants or at a really bad angle. when I got them I wasn't thinking too much about their grading. One also does have eggs (hooray!) cause I'd love to have more than 3 in there. oh yeah, RCS refers to red cherry shrimp, which are different. They're also really awesome shrimp.

Got a picture of one of my fish, one of the oto cats. Phone camera loves making the angle weird.
oh right! i always mix CRS/RCS. im cycling my CRS tank before i order them, i happen to be obsessed with shrimp/inverts
oh right! i always mix CRS/RCS. im cycling my CRS tank before i order them, i happen to be obsessed with shrimp/inverts
my goal of the tank isn't really to be a shrimp specific tank, besides those oto cats I take in a couple of my mom's baby fish from her tank so they can grow without being eaten, unless the shrimp develop bloodlust. The baby mollies can be jerks, one just kind of sat on top of an algae wafer for about 10 minutes while they watched. I hope the cat swipes up that thing. Shrimp are pretty cool to be obsessed over, in some ways they're easier than some fish, like if you don't feed cichlids for two days, way to go you monster! But if you don't feed shrimp for a few days, that's perfectly fine, some people even say it's healthy since as scavengers they aren't naturally used to have a reliable source of food coming in the morning and night. What I really can't wait for is next summer when I buy a much much bigger tank (depends on craigslist, sometimes i've seen non-leaking 120s go with stands for 150$), definitely going to have a lot of fun with that since I'm much less limited than with an 8 gallon micro tank.

It looks kinda weird, guess he has to live with it now...I love my cat rohkus... i also have another cat ferox, shes a skinny ass bitch...her sons out grew her.

I've got a Labranard (the pound said she was an "Australian Shepherd mix", even though she has absolutely no resemblance to one) named Ellie, approximately 7-9. She's incredibly fat and lazy (both of which is probably our fault), but is also really energetic at times, too. She is probably the nicest dog you could ever meet, here's the latest picture of her, chewing on a toy she got during Christmas.

Neither of these pets are with us anymore, sadly, but I remember them fondly. First up is Lil' Bit. [t]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v45/Zero_Point/Little_Bit.jpg[/t] She was half registered Chocolate Lab (named Missy), half pure-bred miniature Dachsund (the father, whom we called Peewee). When her litter was first born, some of them had what looked like rottweiler markings, so we assumed that a rott from down the street had gotten hold of her as they all looked like typical large-breed pups. We gave them away, kept this one, and she grew to a height of about 10" at the shoulder, and then she started growing longer. About that time was when the phone-calls came in from the people who got a pup, asking "What the hell is wrong with this dog?" She was a very clingy dog, and followed my mom everywhere she went. If mom went next door to visit my great grandparents and left her at home, she would sit at the door and cry VERY loudly. Even if mom just went out to check the mailbox, which took all of a minute to do, she'd sit at the door crying as loud as she could until she came back, and would then proceed to do the Dance of Unbridled Joy. Sadly, she had to be put down, because another bad habit of hers was to eat anything she found on the ground that even resembled food, and my great-grandmother had apparantley dropped a blood pressure pill without realizing it. Sad day that was. Next up is my little Lisa. [t]http://i.imgur.com/cxLu5hn.jpg[/t] Chilean Rosehair, very interesting behaviours noted from her, including an instance when I was playing Fallout 3 while listening to Agatha's radio station. She had crawled out of her hide-away, came up to the side of her enclosure closest to my speakers, and placed half of her legs on the side. It's pretty unusual for a tarantula to come out of their hiding spots for no reason at all, but there she was, just sitting there. I decided to mute my speakers to see what would happen, and after about 10 seconds of sitting there in that same pose, she crawled back into her hiding spot. She also had this bizarre affection with the plastic cup I used to get her out of her enclosure during cleaning sessions. Insert cup, nudge her with it, and in she would crawl on her own accord. (getting her out was a little trickier, she loved that cup so :v: ) She sadly died over 3 years ago due to a bad molt.

Wow, old thread haha. As an update Tabitha died back in April. Hard to believe it's already been that long. :c Anyway, here's Kitty. She's a complete spaz. We got here spayed last week and for some reason the second night after, she was just staring like a retard even though she was off the pain meds..... Also, upgraded my fish tank from a 5 to a 20 gallon long about 4 months ago. It's planted, and the plants are doing very well, but I had some problems with growth from my crappy strip light. So I updated my light to a T5HO this week and dropped around 160 bucks on the light and plant food since I was already low on that stuff. Today I also had some time to trim and replant all my shit, hopefully with the new light and the CO2 crap I bought everything will grow like a jungle. Gunna go return the extra bulb I had for my old fixture and get my 12 bucks back because I'm broke as fuck now.
This is Zeke: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/SzZegK.jpg[/t] He's a 7 year old dachshund and the sweetest dog I know. Sorry about the quality of the first and the odd "filter" look of the second. I took these on my phone and my flash tends to tint the color of the picture very badly.
This is my kitty Honda This cutie was rescued by my boyfriend near a farm. He's one of those constant loud purrers. These two are not technically my pets, they are two of four strays that I try to feed, they are always together.
