lack of exercise really I obviously eat more than I use so you could say I eat a lot, but I don't really eat that much, I don't just have a deficit I might change my eating habits once I move out, but we'll see. I never go anywhere so I don't feel the need to change from being seen by people or whatever.
Played football and ate a lot. Swapped football for programming all day, kept habits. I love food.
I don't really eat much meat + I have 195 cm so I'm a fucking creepy skeleton. I want to get fatter..
I want to get fatter..
Holy shit be more careful what you wish for.

Lack of motivation to work out. But when I do, I go running like 4/5 miles if it's a day without interuptions. One of these days I'll have an extra hour to kill and go like 10 just out of "Yeah I'm pretty sure I could do that fuck it why not time to open up Pandora Radio this is going to be awhile." Because I was born with dyspraxia, loose ligaments and hyperextensions. What it means is that I'm always putting on too much force on loose joints that can't take it. Sure, I like to walk a lot, but I'm 6ft and 200 pounds and it's not going anywhere in a hurry. And Hyperextension is an injury people can get but I was born with it everywhere for evers. It means that everything bends back further-my thumb can go back 90 degrees- and some stuff looks weird, like when I stretch my arm out: [t]http://i.imgur.com/OqgeJh0.jpg[/t] See that lump? That's not fat or anything, you slap it and you feel bone. For some reason when I stretch my arm out, my elbow gets really wide and the bone makes that lump. It freaks people out. This kind of stuff means that my joints are always aching and cracking, sometimes creaking. I feel my left shin-bone shift out of my knee socket a bit every time I take a step, I cannot write for long without getting hand cramps that feel like getting my hand trapped in a car door, and I get tired and achey much faster than the regular person. But, when I go to university soon-ish, I'll join a gym and try to get going, but I can NOT do anything too strenuous. Because I've been told in past that if I do anything too hard on the joints I can pretty much break them, so that anything afterwards- even a good slap on them- would dislocate them. I hate my joints ;~;
I weigh 70kg at 5"8', which is gross, but I do maintain a pretty decent level of exercise because I work at a nursing home, (and occasionally hospital clinic) but my weight is terrible because of a poor running posture that makes running result in the worst shin splints imaginable. (I have horrible pigeon toe) This resulted in me hating sports when I was younger because of pain making fun activities relatively hard to enjoy. I also don't eat much, and haven't my entire life, so now that I eat pretty regular meals, my shitty metabolism isn't used to the more regular intake of food, though it's getting better and I'm managing to lose weight slowly. Though because of work and uni life, it's hard to squeeze in time to work out when I really, to be honest, am happy with where I am physically, even if I'm not necessarily at an attractive weight. (doesn't help that my 43kg girlfriend hates the idea of me losing weight)
Isn't 70kg considered on the low-end of the average male body weight? I'm 70kg 6" and I just look lanky.
I don't know, I definitely don't look lanky, but I definitely am 70kg. (I weigh myself daily, feel it helps with keeping in line and making sure nothing crazy happens) I think those 4 extra inches help distribute the weight better, or you may carry it well. I don't get fat anywhere but my abdomen, and have very little everywhere else. My arms and legs and neck are all pretty normal looking.
I eat too much (we seriously buy pizza once a week at my house) and I work out too little. Now that summer is here, both of those things are changing. I remember I changed my dietary habits earlier this year (it's not going on a diet, it is just changing how you eat in general. So yes, you can still have pizza EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE but not every week, and you should limit yourself every day) and it was actually not that difficult. I lost track of it though and just said "fuck it" because school got very stressful again. Hopefully it will be easier now that I have less to manage.
im disabled i try but shit its not easy when ur hip bones fucked up
its cause im weak willed

I was 200 pound then dropped to ~130 in around a month. Not eating and doing shitloads of pilates. I was fat because anti-psychotic class medication is notorious for increasing both appetite and weight gain (no, the two are not one in the same in this case. they compliment each other, one is not causes by the other)

Also to the guy with the potbelly when you're extra stressed out fat doesn't distribute itself properly and heads mostly for the belly region [editline]5th June 2014[/editline] ^ around six foot three. But i have an incredibly lanky build. I look fat even at like 150-160.
And if you could change it would you do it? .
There's no "if" about being able to change it except extremely rare circumstances.
I'm only a little overweight and it's all in my gut. I still have lanky, skinny hospital arms and decently proportioned legs. I didn't really eat healthily as a child and it carried on into my teenage years. I've been cutting back and getting exercise to try and drop some pounds before I turn twenty, hit my second growth spurt, and lose the rest of my dwindling metabolism. If it helps with your research, here's some extra information. Age: 19 Height: 5'5"-5'6" Weight: 160-170lbs
fat confessional: the thread also don't have the money for a gym subscription
fat confessional: the thread also don't have the money for a gym subscription
You don't need to lose weight by lifting iron, you can do bodyweight exercises with 0 money and you'll just need decent shoes for running.
fat confessional: the thread also don't have the money for a gym subscription
You don't do gym lifting to lose weight. The best way to lose weight is through cardio workouts and full body workouts. Running, swimming, cycling, all the best ways to lose weight and none of them require a gym subscription.
I love food and I'm a lazy fucker so I don't exercise. Having a long term girlfriend makes it easier to be a slob cause I don't have to worry about getting laid.

I see. Thanks. I have been trying to get a regimented schedule goin', but never seemingly found the time. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places. Ah well, thanks again. Eh, I'm really only looking to get healthier, not lighter per say, 140 lbs isn't bad, right?
It's not bad but you're classified as skinny at that weight.
Your weight isn't the only thing that dictates whether or not you can be classified as "fat". Your height (and in some cases, age) factors into the BMI equation as well. You could be 4'10", but if you weigh like 150lbs or more, then you're almost definitely overweight (or some kind of freaky bodybuilder midget, depending on your physique). BMI = mass (in kilograms) divided by height (in meters)^2 Or if you use the imperial system, BMI = mass (in pounds) divided by height (in inches)^2 times 703
