just prove to her you are trying to get your grades up(dont be all in your face about it) just say how you are talking to teachers after school and are doing all the homework. bring her a few good test scores to prove it. then kindly ask for the money back. if she doesnt give it back shes a whore
How are you getting C's? My GPA is over 4.5, and I'm taking two AP's during my sophomore year.
Instead of just taking the money back, work out a system with her where you will improve your grades, and she will return the money.

Dick-ness of the comment aside, the message still applies. You want the game? Go show your mother that you can be responsible. You're perfectly capable of it, you just have to apply yourself a bit more. Even if you don't want to give 100% you can still give more than what you've been giving. As long as you're confident in what you're turning in there should be less of a problem, I've been procrastinating all year but I'm still pulling an A average because of this. It only gets harder from where you are, freshman year is easy but there's no turning back once it gets tough.
You can do it, you just have to work for it.
How about never leave your wallet where you can be politely robbed by your own mother.
Sucks to be you, dude. Everyone else has Black Ops.
Over 1 million people are probably on Xbox Live right now.
And they're all having fun.
We laugh at your pity.

Just kidding. I'm joking about those 2nd, 3rd and 4th comments.

Damn man, how much of your time are you giving up for that?
I'd love to have an AP class for the challenge but the work load must be murderous.

just talk to her tomorrow and ask what you can do to get your money back. be nice and calm. if she says nothing, just say ok and leave get good test grades and return.
else do what she says.
if she doesnt give it back to you by the second meeting, tell her that: "you took away my money because i had subpar grades. I have now brought my grades up and was hoping to have my money returned, is there any reason as to why you are not giving me my money back?" if she responds saying that she is keeping the money because your grades werent good enough. you respond something along the lines of "but that was in the past, i have made an effort to bring up my grades and i have succeeded." then if she still says no. ask if there is anything you can do to get your money back. she might say chores or some shit. then do them and be done with it
this should work 90% of the time. the main key is to stay calm and not bug her about it

Nice advice. You seem like you've had to use it a couple of times lol no offense.
Maybe next time youll think twice before you slap your wallet on the counter in front of your mom.
Oh yeah. legit advice: order games online.

this is more looking back at everything i have done wrong in these situations, and doing this originally would have saved me alot of trouble

I agree. If you earned those things through people other than your parents (like a job) then it's 100% yours and your parents have no right to it.

How the fuck do you get more than a 4.0?
Call of duty is like masturbation, a short period of joy then an endless period of shame.
Your mother did you a favor.

If I could get a C or higher in everything I'd be happy.
I vary from D's to B's.. occasional A

his grades dont mean much other than he does all his homework and studies his necessary amount for tests
Good Lord.
Neither of my parents would ever have done something like that. Money before grades in my house. Grades don't get you shit in life.
his grades dont mean much other than he does all his homework and studies his necessary amount for tests
Pretty much this. I really don't see how everyone gets such low grades. I don't get home until 7:00 (sports) and I am able to browse Facepunch, do my homework, and still get to bed by 11:00 to 12:00

the thing is though, that necessary amount for tests can vary alot amongst people, and those in the group that take longer tend to not study enough to get the a. eg in my honbio class (we use a college textbook, its hella bro) i can get a's (95ish) on the tests by only studying 30 minutes on the night before an exam. whereas i have friends that study every time they have any sort of downtime(at least 6 hours total for the test) and do either the same or worse than i do.

Steal it back

Most people don't enjoy downloading a game for 2 weeks and by the end of it just go over their peak.
Why wouldn't you just steal it back
Why wouldn't you just steal it back
Causes more problems
I play Video games, and I get all C's and sometimes I get a few B's.
In Grade 6.
