You know I just got reminded of Cortex Command, and for some reason I have started interpreting it as a reflection on modern society. Seriously, it's just modern society, but with space rockets dumping us unto the ground to work instead of driving there in our cars and buses. We all work our ass off for some psychopathic boss(The brain/controller) fucking up our lives and going through minefields just because of some individuals craving for gold. While some of us has to fuck up our backs digging through the earth to find that gold, other people have to stand and do piss boring stuff like making sure nobody breaks in and destroys shit, then there is the guys who have to fight the other psychopathic control freaks in a competition for gold(which is just an abstraction for resources in general)
