I honestly wish I didn't have to do this sometimes. I mean, of course I'll go out of my way to help someone realize their worth, but I just really don't think I'm the best guy for the job, considering my own mental state. Always afraid I'll say the wrong things.
It really has been a while where I really felt depressing. I never planned to suicide because I know my family and friends will be shocked and sad if I take my live away.
I am not depressed if you thought I am.
Honestly, i've talked so many people out of it that i just kinda get pissed off. I've been there, i've done that. I've been suicidal. I've pushed everyone away and basicay shut off everything in my life. We all go through it, you're stupid if you think otherwise and if killing yourself is the right way to do things, when you have a whole life of amazing experiences ahead of you. It's goddamned infuriating, no matter how low you feel or what's going in your life, it's always worth it to live. [I]You're[/i] always worth it.
I'm not a big fan of the topic either due to how personal it gets and how little you're actually able to do. what are you supposed to say? don't do it? at least in my cases, all I'm really able to get out is a generic response since I rarely know a person to the point where I'm able to form constructive and helpful advice in situations like those, especially when its an internet relationship.
It's fine by me if I can at least provide some catharsis. Shit like this makes me even more saddened that none of my friends are anywhere close to me.

It baffles me how the people who help another the most, are usually struggling themselves.
You may be the best guy for the job honestly, it's way easier to help when you have gone through shit yourself.

I don't think it's like that, but instead that there are more people struggling than one might think. when thinking of it, it's hard to imagine that anyone has a life without problems and worries. some people are just better at hiding it.

I like the progress on your map
Do you use brushes and add custom textures to them or are they actual separate models placed as prop_(static, physics)?
It's actually all brush based, and I slap custom textures on top of them. But it's not really 'my' map; this is a map for the Freak Fortress 2 gamemode, and many servers use it. Majority of the server's playerbase where I play complained about it being too huge. So I took the decompiler out and I'm trying to brush it up a bit.

Personally I feel like helping other people is good for me because it pulls me out of my own problems. Sometimes when I'm in a really bad funk I get immediate relief if I can pull back and focus on somebody else. Aside from that it feels good in general to make somebody else feel better, so that's always good as well.
