I'm pretty sure Zorlok or that one old WAYTer whose name escapes me at the moment (tends to post somewhat incoherently whenever they post) have been using that the longest. Iirc both of them have been using it since at the very least since I first started frequenting the thread back in 2010.

Yeah, that's who I was thinking of. I can never remember their name and to make matters worse there's another old WAYTer I mix them up with whose name is somewhat easier for me to remember. (I forget that person's exact username but it's something like <vet>jasper or something somewhat similarish to that.)

I try to listen and give advice and all that, but problem is though, that some gets all dramatic up my e-face while others just keep going and going, and I'm too nice to say "right now, I just can't help you" and it really tears on me how I'm here stuck with everyone else's problems to think of besides my own - and now I'm rambling again

Sometimes you have no choice but to try and be honest if peoples' problems are overwhelming you. Break it to them as gently as possible that you're not able to help them out, and if need be apologize for it, but getting buried under everybody else's problems won't do you any good if you have too many troubles of your own to deal with.

Don't worry about rambling, if you talk about it then you're not just sitting on it (which can be a terrible thing). I'm not great at advice, but all I can suggest is try to change the subject if someone tries to vent and you don't have the energy/time at that moment. Hopefully they'll pick up on that, but if they don't then just act as if you are busy at the moment.
