People say I should back up my important files at regular intervals.. never really bothered with it. There's a lot of stuff I'd die if I lost, maybe I should get a second hard drive. I think my computer case supports, like four hard drives.

They're very reliable since they're only ever active when you're backing something up. Just make sure you get a USB3.0 one.
