Literally? Nothing, I usually just lay in bed for an hour desperately trying to get some extra sleep in before I hear the bus engines roaring for me, so I can use my improbable morning-skills to hop up, tear into some clothes, and run right out the door. Philosophically, I'll get back to you on that, I'm not the pilot of a very profound life.
I take care of my great-grandmother, who just had her hundredth birthday this month, and she certainly isn't going to get up if I don't.
My alarm is out of reach of my bed, so I have to get up to hit snooze.
In most cases I just stay in bed until I'm wake enough to get up finally.
My bed is hard and uncomfortable
Because if I hurry there's still some bacon left.
I don't know. :x
to experience the same day, everyday wake up, feel like shit, attend class, feel like shit, go home, feel like shit, ssdd
On weekends, I just lay in bed until my girlfriend E-mails me, checking my phone every time I wake up and going back to sleep until it happens. Or, sometimes I get up if I cant sleep anymore and E-mail her instead. On weekdays, I just try to think about everything I can look forward to in the day to get me up, such as my girlfriend, and just kind of try to ignore the fact I have to trudge through school monotonously for 7 hours. Really though without her I don't think I'd have any reason to get up at all. I mean, before she came along I usually just slept in as late as possible and kinda just slunked out of bed in the morning ready for another shit day. Life's pretty good now though.

This is as fictional as my chances of getting up :v:
The screams of the damned. Coming from the jar of the damned. Next to my bed of the damned.

The pain of my owner hitting my head really hard. Oh wait, I'm an alarm clock.
Let's take a look at this philosophicall: To get education, so that if my dream career falls apart I can always get another job, that won't suck so I won't be homeless.
This year, I only have on early class, which is at an incredibly painful 11:20. The worst part is it takes a whole 5 minutes to walk to class, and another whole 20 to get ready.
My mother, comes in an wakes me up every morning at 7:20
Every morning, I feel this compulsion to put my little trains on the track and run them for half an hour. The sound of a tiny electric motor struggling to pull its weight combined with the delicacy of putting those tiny little wheels on the track is always helpful for waking up.
Nothing. Kind of funny how i can wake up in the middle of the night and go for a drink or a piss yet in the morning i cant wake up. Even if i put my alarm at the other side of my room i get up and turn it off i still go back to sleep
Nothing. Which recently has caused me to lose school funding, fail classes and overall lose faith in my own future... :(
Either my alarm or my housemates. My room is connected to the kitchen so normally I can hear them talking or smell whatever they're cooking.
What literally gets me up in the morning? My alarm clock, and even that's not very effective.Sometimes I just groggily come half-awake,hit the snooze button, and fall asleep for another half hour. What generally gets me up in the morning? I have few friends and I am hated by more people than I'd like.Schoolwork is slowly but steadily overwhelming me,and it seems like all of my past mistakes and laziness will come out of the blue and ruin me at any second.I spend most of my waking moments in near depression and few things ever seem to go right for me.So tell me,what possible incentive could I have to wake up to my unbearable life every morning?

Everything's fixable. You could set a goal to fix your life and wake up with that thought every morning.
My alarmclock wakes me up, but the fact that life is a rare thing, I usually get up because of my classes, (I'm one of those who don't wanna miss school due to trying to be what I want in life and I feel shitty if I turn on myself) my friends and just that I enjoy the school I'm going to at the moment. I still have to get up 6.00 everyday except weekends and Fridays and take bus and train for an hour each way. It's shitty but I still enjoy it. (Except for Spanish classes... That I have now...Like right now...)
