I cheated on my math test with my friend, we usually always cheat from each other, so today the teacher decided to put us in deffirent rooms (right next to each other) and we didn't have any of our phones or any way to cyberly communicate. So basicaly we had like 100 small paper airplanes under the desk and we started throwing them from room to room through the window, asking questions to each other or answers. Don't ask because I DONT KNOW how any of the teachers realized, I guess we were extremely lucky...

Like, how will you gain anything from that? Oh, you're getting 90%-100% in all your tests, lets put you in the highest test grade for your GCSEs/ALevels..... Oh dear.... you only got 20% and failed? What happened? You were doing so well, now you have to redo your test next year..... It doesn't help.
Some people have a serious fear of failure, or what it might entail, so it makes for a good short term solution
But in the long run, it'll make the failure in a controlled test so much worse. It's just dumb. The only way to overcome this is TO STUDY
But in the long run, it'll make the failure in a controlled test so much worse. It's just dumb. The only way to overcome this is TO STUDY
Easy to say, but for some it's just not feasible for them for a myriad of reasons.
Easy to say, but for some it's just not feasible for them for a myriad of reasons.
I generally think most of it comes down to laziness. Obviously there are some people that have actual mental issues. But laziness to learn is a key factor.
I generally think most of it comes down to laziness. Obviously there are some people that have actual mental issues. I learned everything through in-class practice and explanation and much outside of that academically wouldnt stick Clarification I'm not saying I cheated just thay studying doesn't always work and that you don't have to have a mental condition to prevent studying from being effective [editline]1st December 2015[/editline] Also, my girlfriend and I had been fighting for quite some time and it felt like everything was going to fall apart after 2-1/2 years together from the constant arguing, but last weekend our best friend got drunk with us because he could tell what was going on. He got gf and I drunk but coherent enough to tell truth left and right and left the room and I remember everything she said and she remembers what I said during and we know our true feelings and I've never loved this woman more than now.
In Civilization IV I always strive to found Christianity and make it my state religion, along with the theocracy civic. Not because I'm religious myself, but because I like the little jingle that plays when the religion spreads.
What do you think you're gaining by writing this shitpost anyway?
How on earth is that a shitpost? It was my general though on people cheating in tests and showing an example of why i believe it isn't good. My comment was structured. 1. Reveal point 2. Why i believe this 3. Conclusion
Oh boy, here we go... I don't think cheating is good either, but I still don't understand, why are people so close minded when it comes to it, and why would people defend their opinions about it until death no matter what? Cheating is obviously wrong, everyone knows that, but it is a fact of life. You're lying to yourself if you say that you've never cheated. That doesn't make you better than anyone here.
You're implying everyone ever has cheated, which isn't true. Besides, greeley isn't saying this to be superior, he just believes cheating will just bite you in your ass later, and I agree.

Teachers are there to help, they are there to try and improve you to the best of your ability, they use these tests to see if what you're struggling on. If you're just cheating by copying the answers down, how else is the teacher meant to help you with your troubled areas when she/he believes that you're an A* student? How are you meant to learn how to work this problem out yourself when you haven't learned the solution?

If you can't feel that I'm sorry for you... And actually you post didn't affect me, I just kept on laughing my ass off on how dumb of a response it was.
I call myself an artist, but it's been a while since I actually made art. This is gonna get me nowhere in life if I keep it up.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, i just can't see why my opinion of thinking that cheating is really unbeneficial in the long run is wrong and i would love to hear your point on it. I'm sorry to hear that your teacher isn't helping you with what you need to learn, you didn't say that in your post so i wouldn't know that. I'm trying to be reasonable here. I'm not trying to be some superior shit here, i'm not like that. If you want to actually do your work without cheating (NOT A DIG) then ask your teacher personally that you need help and you don't understand. Communication is the key.
Holy shit cheating stops mattering literally the second you're finished with school and you start your job. Not like any job is gonna say 'well you've had this in school, we're not gonna guide you at all now. Good luck and have fun.' and if they do do that then it's bound to be a shit job anyway
My dog loves me <3
Lol "education matters" How many generations ago did it go from "actual learning" to "passing tests"? I think cheating is OK in a flawed education system. If we were to learn stuff we really 100% needed in life, then I'd agree. But to cheat on a math test in which its sole purpuse isn't to learn you how to mathematically explain the mass of an apple whilst rolling from a hill at a certain velocity, but rather "rational thinking" in general, i could salute anyone who'd find a way to succesfully cheat on a test eithout getting caught. You also need your fair share of "general insight" for that
You're implying everyone ever has cheated, which isn't true. Besides, greeley isn't saying this to be superior, he just believes cheating will just bite you in your ass later, and I agree.
It's only going to come bite your ass if you're not careful and you're overdoing it, it's not going to affect your performance at all in college or your career, education isn't as important as people make it out to be. Also, please understand that I do not encourage cheating at all, but I will never understand people who are sooo against it.
Sometimes I date a lot of people in a short amount of time. I used to feel guilty about it but now I feel ok with this... well, most of the time. Every once in a while I feel like this is a waste of time
Ever since I got tinder I've been talking to a different girl every week. So far I've had one real date, two dates I was suppose to have but I never heard from them, multiple died down conversations and a shitton of rejection. Shit just happens but it's alright
i would really like to confess to what i did but when i did on 4chan i got a 3-month ban for violating united states law so i dont think its such a good idea to do it here
