I believe in gay marriage. I just think my idea is better then what currently popular. The only reason I think people are against it is they must hate gay people.
Ever since I got tinder I've been talking to a different girl every week. So far I've had one real date, two dates I was suppose to have but I never heard from them, multiple died down conversations and a shitton of rejection. Shit just happens but it's alright
I had one date series from it, and the twink-y motherfucker used me for free dates, told me he wanted to be just friends, insulted me when i said I couldn't be friends with someone I had romantic feelings for, insisted that he just couldn't do any sort of romantic relationships now or in the next few months, and then a few weeks later was getting really cozy with another dude in our cafeteria
he has now become motherfucker jones among me and a friend. Its bemusing, more than anything
Otherwise my success rate is similar. I haven't had a new match in a week and a half now. Gotta keep trying, though.

Legit a quote from you though in unpopular opinions thread.....

I rephrase it now I understand my position better. I am for multiple partner marriages and think there needs to be more definitions and purposes for marriage, for different situations. Some cultures do this. Why not America?
For the record, I believe to be a politician, you must be gay. That should be the first requirement for holding office.
That or its religion/ew buttstuff. both of which are silly at best.
Not religious eww butt stuff. I just think the idea of what marriage is and should be for, should be expanded.
I have a problem making eye contact with people and I don't know why
Maybe it's intimidating?
I used to have this, too. I managed to get over it once I found out the girl I liked, liked me back. Since then, making eye contact with anyone else became easier, because they didn't feel as "big of a force" as they used to be. It was in my case my insecurity that made me look away.

What
I'm awful at telling myself to go do something, because usually I'd just end up sitting and being bored infront of my pc anyways.
I was supposed to have gone to bed like 2 hours ago too, but nope, gotta be bored infront of my pc!
What
I think homosexuals should be in charge. Is there problem with that?
I have a problem making eye contact with people and I don't know why
I'm kinda like this.
I'm alright with making eye contact with people if I'm the one speaking, but if people are talking to me, especially for long periods of time, then I can't help but look away.

I just have a problem with making eye contact in general I look away a lot and it feels awkward but I really can't help it. I think it's that I'm afraid of people looking at a blemish or something on my face.

Why should your sexual orientation have any meaning in a political situation?
I enjoy watching videos of people suffering from extreme autism because it makes me glad that I only have aspergers. Does that make me a bad person?
Why should your sexual orientation have any meaning in a political situation?
I'm straight. To me it would be the right thing to do.
Dang am I too late for the cheating discussion? There is one little thing I'd like to add.
From my experience as a TA, cheating is a symptom of a far greater problem. Students tend to cheat if either a) they don't understand the course content or b) they are under pressure to be a high achiever.
If the student cheats because of (a), teachers are unable to see that they are struggling and so the teacher can't give the student the additional help they need. Of course, this assumes that the teachers are competent and want you to learn.
I'm straight. To me it would be the right thing to do.
That's not an answer. I'm asking why someone being gay compared to being straight makes them more preferable in a political position.
You shouldn't care whether a candidate is gay or straight. Care about their ideals and promises.

Good question. I also meant to say post op transexuals should hold positions of power. No one else.
To me, this would increase equality in society.
Doesn't making it so only gay people are allowed to be in office go against the idea of representative democracy though since gays are a small minority? Also limiting who can or cannot be electable based on something like that is like apartheid.

I do not think a representative democracy is doable in the future for many reasons. Also any government ends up devolving into an oligarchy. So instead of fighting this trend, an oligarchy should be the main model. Its not ideal, but that what tends to happen. Make the best of it.
I believe non cis, and non heterosexuals should be make the majority of this oligarchy.
To me, this would increase equality in society.
You don't increase equality by imposing minority quotas, or giving preferential treatment to a specific group of people that were once ignored and/or abused by the system. Because nothing keeps this group of privileged individuals from abusing this power.

How that any different then how things are working now? At least I'm honest about it. Like I said, I'm straight and I am all for it. For one, it would solve nepotism and corruption over time.

Little changes under your system. You are just switching who gets to be on top, and leaving no way to stop anyone there from abusing their power.
How that any different then how things are working now? At least I'm honest about it. Like I said, I'm straight and I am all for it. For one, it would solve nepotism and corruption over time.
You can't force cultural changes down people's throats because it rarely ends well, for example the soviets tried to destroy organized religion and the clergy in Poland but that only made Catholicism even stronger there. Making only gays be allowed to be in positions of power will legitimize homophobic groups and will create even more problems between the people and the government and it won't end well. It won't solve corruption or nepotism, just because someone is gay doesn't mean they won't have a family.
Actually I am having a debate on yahoo answers with a social justice warrior. I just made up a bs ideal so you can give me the better replies. I suck at debate.
Thanks.
suuuuuure you do, pal
Sure you do
Giving positions of power to gay/trans/blacks/other minorities simply because they're minorities is fucking idiotic. I'd much rather see an old straight white male who is good at their job to be in power, than a person of some minority group that is bad at that job to be in power.

He got it. Its one idea to prevent dynasties.
There is another reason:
In every group, there is always a chance to have good leaders. In every demographic, there are good people. So finding good leaders isnt a problem within this system.
My question is, what creates bad leaders or better yet, allow bad leaders to thrive and common?
My view is emotionally imbalanced people is the root cause.
There are certain people who make bad leaders and are emotionally imbalanced. They suffer from narcissism.
This idea of putting a certain group in charge is to draw those who are afflicted with Narcissm to act in certain ways with the promise of power. Its these people I am after. These people will do what it takes to fit in (despite their true nature) to gain social status. If they act in certain ways which prevents them having children (so they may keep that power), then they wont pass their baggage to the next generation.
Which over time, this self re-enforcing mechanism will slowly eliminate the narcissists over time. Which would improve society over time.
My goal is to create an idea which will use the psychology against the people who make things terrible for others, weed them selves out, thus self enforcing, thus self affirming. This is just one angle.
If this isnt good, I'll try other ideas I have.
I don't even know what's going on anymore.
A lot of my targeted ads are prom dresses...
I feel like I'm going to have a mental breakdown
