Coke with breakfast?

Heroin doesn't wake you as much as coke with breakfast.
I'm an atheist because I'm too lazy to be religious. I would rather spend my Sunday afternoons playing video games.
I'm an atheist after I realized it didn't gel with what I feel, and after being negatively affected by father's catholicism (I was a huuuge climate change and evolution critic) plus my own religious experiences (including being told that all lgbt individuals have mental issues and must cured+saved)
Now I find myself in awe of, and almost worshipping, the rules of mathematics. It fundamentally underlies everything we experience and do, from the extra galactic structures to the interactions of quantum particles. I've even recently been using it in music, which is fascinating. It's all so systemic and neat and organised and just works and links together in the coolest fucking ways. Maybe I should tip my Trilby, but goddamn is it amazing.
Speaking if math I have a math final in about ~30m that I'm anxious for. Mostly because I love the material, and know the material, but combine ADHD with excitement and I end up going too fast and being too excited and make silly mistakes that massacre my grade.

I suck at math, but I can understand why it is the purest form of truth and knowledge, you can't go wrong with 1+1=2 its impossible for that to be wrong, so I guess mathematics in things like physics and more are a lot like that.

Oh dude I'm exactly the same. I was taken to church one weekend for some reason, and the only reason I wanted to go back was for sweets. Then dad said I would have to go every sunday and I went back to playing Red Faction

Could you use this?
I have the book?
I consider myself a Christian, but don't go to church. Hell, I don't even believe in God. I do like to think that there's more between heaven and Earth that we can see however, and I believe in many things as your ideal Christian would - being nice to other people, being a good Samaritan etc.
I also want to believe that there is in fact a God, and possibly even some kind of heaven after we die. And I hate being associated with Atheists because most I've met have unfortunately been idiots. I know that's not the case with everyone, but damn has it soured my image of people who don't believe in anything.

You don't have to go to church every sunday to be religious...
You don't have to go to church every sunday to be religious...
I come from a religious family, and even my mom who's really into that kinda stuff (has like 5 different bibles in each bookshelf, takes bible study lessons, a lot of big decisions she's asked God about first, etc) hasn't gone to Sunday Mass in a little over a year. So long as you at least practice the faith you should be good enough to be called "religious".

Nobody should feel bad for being an atheist just because neckbeards exist.
Since theism came up, the reason I'm an Atheist is simple: Nobody has presented any evidence that the God they believe in exists, there are a bunch more reasons, but that is the simplest and easiest to convey.

Well I got some news.
You are not a Christian, nor an Atheist.
You are Agnostic.
Agnostic is where you neither Believe of Disbelieve that there is a god.
I suck at math, but I can understand why it is the purest form of truth and knowledge, you can't go wrong with 1+1=2 its impossible for that to be wrong, so I guess mathematics in things like physics and more are a lot like that.
Idk, I've always been fascinated by figuring out the why and how of things and like to follow that down as far it can go. It really bothers me when I have to take a class with a professor that just has us memorize the equations - I want to know why we use that equation, and how we can derive it or apply it elsewhere damnit.
By and large my academic interest is mostly in spacecraft and systems design, but I just find doing math tk be very satisfying and compelling. Not sure why. I'm fucking weird though
And thanks JohnnyCarson, but I actually read that book recently :/
Edit: should probably stop going back to theism vs atheism, but I moved away from Christianity as I studied the Bible more and more. It's still an impressive document, and the NKJ version is particularly so in terms of rhetoric, but I couldn't agree with what was actually being said.

I know it's just tongue and cheek

The argument that religion matters because realizing that a god (or gods) made everything for us is something that we should live for doesn't jive with me. It's far more awe-inspiring to think that out of the theoretically infinite possibilities of the universe that would end in us never even existing (not to mention those in which we would just die immediately or something) we landed in this one and we have gotten so far in researching and documenting how it all works that the sheer chance that life, physics, etc. could be so complex yet occur by random chance that not even run-on sentences like this could describe how absolutely amazing it is
I'm fucking weird though
that's also true
once i was super tired when making my breakfast so i poured coke into my cereal and milk into my glass
reminds me of the time my friend was so tired yet so hungry he just took various concepts of preparing food and combined them.
he was half-conscious when he poured potato chips into a bowl, then milk, then microwaved it.
I've been soda free for nearly a month now.

You know me better than most in this thread :v:
Run on sentences are also the tool of the people that go on sophomoric soliloquies on this topic though
my (only) close friend recently broke it to me that he takes anti depressants and even showed me. i knew it was hard for him to talk about it with me, and he told me that sometimes i treat him like shit without realizing it, which ive just discovered that i actually do. he tells me that he "feels betrayed that my closest friend would do something like that to me," and usually hides his anger and frustration. ive realized that ive been a shitty friend. he says he puts on a social mask when talking to people, except for me, and he only acts the way he does because of how he is.
this was hard for me to confess and i know it was hard for him to confess
im sorry bro
Sometimes i just tear off a piece of raw meat with my teeth and swallow it, intestinal parasites be damned.
I also have an obsession with a memesite moderator...
Im checking out all the Butts sometimes even man butts ._.
i am like half wasted and trying to figure out what is going on with this chick suddenly. bassically i just want to go to bed but, the "alcohol and what the fuck ever " wants to...
idk fuck it i am drunk and some chick is talking to drunk me basically.
i just had a jelly filled donut for the first time ever
cream is better
but did it taste good?
not really
Theres this girl that started hanging out with me and my group of friends over the course of a few months, and shes cute, has a nice personality, and is really easy to talk to. One of my friends is interested in her. I can see why. If it wasnt for the fact that he is still into her, i would go out with her in a heartbeat. We'll call him friend A. Everyone im friends with knows he is interested in her. A started making moves on her, but he recently slowed down for some reason. Over the course of time, me and a few other buds were wondering why he wasnt trying to make a move on her, and one of my other close friends next to A, we'll call him B, said he doesn't think anything will happen between them. Then theres me. A is still interested in her though, but heres the problem
i think she is starting to like me
She goes out of her way to be near me more, she is starting to be playful with me more, laughs at my jokes, etc. Just a day ago all of that happened. Example: I was getting on the bus. Me and my friends filed in, all of us having having our own seats. She comes and sits by friend B, then moves to my seat and sits by me for some reason, ignoring friend A. She sits by me close, leaning in and scooting over closer acting more and more cuddly as the bus ride continues. This seemed out of her character because she is usually not like this around me. I wasn't uncomfortable by this at all, but i was still thinking about friend A and not making a move on this girl. I still need to be friendly of course. We were showing eachother pictures on our phones laughing and having a good time while she is sitting close to me. I guess the fun is showing, because as she is sitting really close up on me, i noticed friend B giving me that smile and winking then talking to one of my other buds, and other people i kind of know looking my direction giving me the "go get em, tiger" look.
Now my friends think that me and her look like an 'adorable couple'
Thats not what it was supposed to look like. I still know that A likes her, i am fully aware, but i cant slip out of a cute girls affection like that. The main talking point after i got off the bus with friend B was how i was flirting with her. I didnt mean to, i was just trying to be nice. Im confused as fk right now cuz of this
Tldr - avoiding feelings for a girl that i have good chemistry with because my friend is interested in her first
update on this
she doesnt really go out of her way to talk to A, and she snapchats me a lot. A said that she is ignoring him now. i dont know where this is going, but to be honest, despite my interest in her, i still hope he just makes the move my friends are waiting for
im gonna abandon this thread for future posts on this topic cuz it is not really a confession anymore

Huh. I honestly did not know there's was a word for that. Oh well. Guess I'm... Agnostic, then.
I'm going through jaw surgery on Thursday. Slightly nervous.

May I ask why?
May I ask why?
Slight overbite (if it's called that) and somewhat open bite (I chew mostly with the teeth on the sides). I see it as the last effort after lots and lots of dentist visits.

Doesn't everyone do this? Ain't front teeth just chopping and tearing something off considering their style compared to others.
