I failed my Programming I class, and I don't know how. I did all but maybe two labs/assignments, and missed some of the Week Reviews, but 100%ed everything else. Now I have to retake it, and it very well might push my graduation back one semester.
That's just assholish driving really. One day there's gonna be an accident and it's going to be your fault just because you simply liked the thrill of it. I myself like to drive fast but not in areas where i could accidentally fuck up and get somebody's property destroyed or life endangered. There's a nice curvy ~15 kilometer road trough a forest to my nearest city where the car density is really low. My top time is 11 minutes there from the start to the end. There's a difference between driving fast and driving irresponsibly.
i know, but part of me believes that if you always take into consideration the ifs and buts in life you'd never leave the house because of all the shit that might happen. i mean it's stupid to take these unnecessary risks but i just cant drive normally. it bores the hell out of me seeing as i spend 3-4 hours on the road every single day of the week, i constantly have this need to improve my driving in terms of finding the perfect balance between speed and comfort, and constantly try to push the envelope even on unfamiliar roads. i also have a CE license and i've worked as a truck driver for 3 years, i think thats when i built up this resentment towards monotonous driving since you are forbidden to go above 90 kph at all times.

Maybe listen to some calming music while driving so you don't drive fast/recklessly?
For the first time in my life, last night I turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism.

His body was thrown into my driveway, and I stood on the porch watching his screaming wife fall to her knees when the officer told her he was dead. This shit isn't a fucking game. Cars aren't toys. Wise up.

It's only two car lengths or so long and it splits straight off the highway at a steep angle. Every few months someone doesn't slow down enough and either A) Slams head first into another car or the cement bridge wall or B) misses the bridge completely and goes careening into the river twenty feet below. They rarely come out unharmed. You're going to end up as one of them.

He is knowingly and happily putting other people in danger just for a thrill, and has been for years. That isn't just inexcusable, it's fucking disgusting. If I had the authority to, I'd throw his ass in jail and permanently suspend his license just for admitting that fact.
In High School I was friends with a girl, I'll call her K. K was a really nice person, she always acted as the leader of the group and cared for other people, she was also really good looking, probably one of the best looking people in the class or that I knew at school. Anyways, K noticed me for being particularly silent almost all time but also being "smart" according to her. I remember this one time we had to write a description of one of our classmates and stuff, she told me she was gonna make her description about me (first time I know of a girl wanting to write something about me), then she asked me to "check" what she wrote. I barely read anything because I thought "This girl is really good looking and nice, why would she write about me?" Things keep going on, during Philosophy class our teacher would go off topic and talk about the philosophy behind cartels and weird stuff, I barely payed attention to him, then K (who usually sat next or in front of me) would draw hearts in my book and smile at me. Again I thought "This is not happening, out of all the guys in this class who are probably better than me in every single aspect, why would she pick me?", I just made a poorly drawn heart in her book and pretend to smile at her. At my last semester, after being president of the class for three semesters, K told me to become the president of the class (which would've been easy as fuck considering everyone at school already knew me and wanted me to be the next one) and then she would be the vice-president. Again I declined because my stupid depression and low-self esteem because the idea sounded way too good to be true. During that semester, K would wait for me after school just so I could walk with her to the bus stop. tl:dr First time I had a girl being interested in me and then I ruined everything and avoided her because I had a very low self esteem.

Your commercial license will be revoked and you will lose your job 2.) Your personal license will be revoked 3.) You will go to jail for 1-3 years for vehicular manslaughter (according to my brief overview of Israeli law) 4.) You will be paralyzed or otherwise severely injured 5.) You will die 6.) You will have fun on the road and get to your destination quickly At least you admit that it's stupid. Here's hoping you just lose your license soon. But something tells me that won't stop you.
I once tried to kill myself by getting drunk and them jumping on a deep pool during prom night. My friends assumed I was just acting drunk and approached to talk with me, I didn't tell them I was actually trying to get myself killed. I also thought about committing suicide by attempting to hold up a store during military/police patrols and then just do something dangerous so they could shoot me to death. After those moments I decided to go to therapy and tried to shape up. I secretly keep a memo on my smartphone. It's a text I wrote for myself, reminding me that I'm a person worth of living and that there's a solution for everything except death. Whenever I have a bad day and feel like not returning home with my family, I check my phone and read that memo.
i secretly get genuinely a little butthurt whenever someone on fa says miku is a shit waifu

I find it funny how some people can have waifus. But I am a hypocrite because I would marry anyone that looks like Elizabeth from Bioshock or Miss Pauling from TF2. And I am just in love with Curie from Fallout 4.
I have no idea what I'm doing in life. NG+ would be great.
Whenever I go to the restroom I always use a stall because I don't like people seeing me peeing. I tried to meditate during shower once.
I'm too financially broke to get gifts to my parents this christmas... I feel so ashamed since they support me and a shitstorm of things fell on my family this year...

Hell, I live on this road and sometimes I almost wreck there. You can't predict everything that will happen and driving recklessly will only increase the odds that those things will injure you or someone else. I pray that only you get hurt in your inevitable crash. [editline]23rd December 2015[/editline] It is also clear to me that you have no intention of changing your ways. I know that you care at least a little since you are posting here about it but please consider trying to be more conscious of how you drive. Another story. A family friend was driving home in his truck. He was speeding and had a little bit to drink. He hit a car head on. He was fine, since his truck was raised. The other car, however, did not do so well. There was a family of three in that car. Let me emphasize "was". He killed one parent instantly, and the child died on the scene. The other parent was in critical and is crippled because of him. He was charged with manslaughter. Do you know what happened to him after that? He was supposed to go to jail for a very, very long time but instead he decided to kill himself. Because he chose to drive a little less safely he ended two lives, ruined the third and then ended his own. It's fine if you want to take a risk and bet your own life but you are betting with other peoples lives too. You said it yourself
i am literally the biggest cunt on the road i also do this when i'm driving with friends or girlfriend so by extension i risk their lives every single day. Her arm is crooked, bent in an unnatural way. You killed her. Because you wanted to go fast and feel cool, she's dead. For the love of god please drive safely.

also anecdotal stories aren't really interesting to me because i'm not that impressionable anymore. the problem with the truck driver in your story was the fact that he decided it'd be a good idea to drink and drive, on a truck of all things. i won't lie and i'll say that i've driven under the influence before, and not just after a couple of beers, but after an entire night out drinking where i got smashed on an empty stomach. i had a savana passenger back then, and 6 other people riding with me. they all said i drove even better while intoxicated to shit - this is because some people who drink and drive take far extra care on the road because they are aware of the fact that they are drunk, and that makes them ten times as focused, simply out of fear and anxiety. it's a documented phenomena. it's why cops also pull over drivers who drive suspiciously slow. on the other hand you have drivers who drink and crash head on with cars and kill entire families. it's, again, up to the individual. and anecdotal stories don't prove or disprove anything.
reckless driving simply increases the probability of having an accident, it doesn't guarantee an accident. that's a big difference
Increasing the probability of an accident already makes you a danger to society. Stop this shit. If you absolutely need your thrills, speed up to your heart's content in highways, in hours with little traffic and while the only passenger in the vehicle is yourself. Don't endanger the lives of others, no matter how good do you think you are.
drive take far extra care on the road because they are aware of the fact that they are drunk,
That is 100% not true. You are seriously saying that science is wrong and that driving recklessly and drunk driving is fine. You are Darwinism waiting to happen.
i wouldn't categorize mythbusters as 'science', and i haven't said that drunk driving is fine. i'm just arguing the fact that the road isn't as black and white as "had a few drinks/went above the limit = guaranteed death".
