Hopefully he lives, so we can flood him with PMs saying "Told you so"

what would that vengeance accomplish? it would make you feel good, but you wouldnt be a good person for it
I hope he gets his license revoked. How about that?
No one dies or gets injured. Hurrah!
I just bought an InfoWars t-shirt and donated $75 to the site as well, Merry Christmas Alex Jones!
Someone send his posts to the Israel DPS.
Jesus, I never thought I'd read a post here where someone's justifying extremely dangerous driving and even saying that they're a better driver when intoxicated.
I can understand going far above the speed limit on a highway with low amounts traffic and I can tolerate some speeding on roads inside cities (e.g. doing around 60km/h in a 50km/h zone) but what Melnek is doing is extremely dangerous. As others have pointed out, he will crash and ruin other people's lives one horrible day.
Melnek, If you love driving recklessly that much, do it on a race track or on a completely abandoned road with no buildings nearby, far away from any city or village. Less risk for both you and others since race tracks have great roads and there's rarely any traffic that far away from civilization. Please stop driving recklessly on roads near/in populated areas.
Car related confessions then: Only time I go over the speed limit is when overtaking. Fastest I've gone is 140km/h on a 110km/h highway but otherwise, I refuse to even go 5km/h above the limit and that's why I usually get tailgated by other drivers (I stay in the right lane on the highway but it still happens a lot even though the left lane is completely free of traffic).
Sometimes when I see a post or image I really like on fp, I try to "reblog" it. But then I remember I can't do that.

my version of reblogging is to spam it to people on steam
melnek's a cunt, sure, but all these posts blabbering on about it are kind of stupid to read through. especially stuff like ''i'll be happier when hes dead''
he also obviously doesn't give a single fuck, its a waste of time to try to talk stuff into someone that doesn't care.
do you think its justified to feel better knowing that a dangerous person is no longer a threat? because thats all it is. one less person causing danger to innocent peoples communities.
I've always wanted to take a nap in a hot shower. I like the sound and feel of the water coming out of the shower head, and lying down in the bath tub feels good too.
I've just never done it because I'm afraid I'll wake up freezing cold because I've run all the hot water out V:v:V
I swear, if I could live in hot water all day I would.
whoa hold the phone, don't HVAC systems out there heat the water on the fly? We've got one central boiler on the loft which heats up water for our faucets, radiators and showers. Basically anything that requires hot water. You turn on the hot water tap and the boiler simply kicks in.
And yeah I might sound spoiled, but at one point you get so used to it I've never really looked into how central heating systems work in other countries.
I should actually do this sometime though, since we won't run out of hot water here.

if you have a few minutes, this is how it works in every house ive ever lived in, and as far as i know, most houses in america.
http://home.howstuffworks.com/water-heater.htm
although i think hotels and other other such special places have different mechanisms. i have no idea how they work.

They have big ass fuck tanks. Or tankless ("instant") water heaters, maybe? I know you can get tankless heaters for homes but they are way more expensive and not really better than tank systems.
I liked this movie.
I don't know why.
I'm going on a date in 11 hours and I'm scared i'll fuck up.
I will report back ... if I survived :v:
So I said I'd report back;
We didnt go on the date, actually, this happened:
It was shit weather. I whatsapped her and asked her "should we still continue?". She wanted to, but it's 55 min travel time for her, so I felt bad and asked her when the next day was she had free time. Next week friday ... a long time from now. So we talked throughout the day, both bummed out because we really looked forward to it. And guess what, the weather cleared up later on the day.
I was working on dinner plans for the next 2 days when she asked me if I was going to do anything special this xmas. I told her about what I was going to cook. She was surprised because i didnt tell her cooking is one of my few hobby's. Explained what I was going to make, following a Gordon Ramsey recipe with some modifications to the way the meat was going to be cooked. She was insanely interested and asked me if I could cook for her once. I asked her "what about next friday?". I just said it out of the blue, more as a joke because I didn't expect her to say "yes, sure!". Well, she's coming over for dinner next friday. But that wasn't everything.
Later, only a few hours ago, she send me a message she was going to her fathers place, who also lives in Amsterdam as a "late xmas visit". She isnt in much contact with him, due to her parents being divorced, but like i previously mentioned, the travel time is ~55 min with the train. So ... it seems like she's going to sleep over, too :v:
It's not like we don't know eachother. I've known her for well over 2 years now, but we only happened to see eachother in another light 2,5 months ago? We've been on a few dates but we've both had a rough and long relationship behind us. So from "laying low" we're heading towards "staying for dinner & sleepover" in my room.
Idk if i should feel glad. I'm feeling immense pressure all of the sudden

don't let this opportunity slip away
this is your time to shine. cook your way to victory.
broke up with my gf. after a while of serious talking found out that she's believed that due to her religional beliefs we could never be much more than a couple for a year or two from the very start. not sure if i should feel insulted since she made me tell her how serious i am while apparently not being very serious herself, or flattered cause she says she likes me so much she couldn't bring herself to call it off.
either way, we've only been dating for some months now so i'm thankful i found out now and not a year from now. still bummed out cause no one has made me as happy as she did in years.
oh well, at least i'm with family and gonna go out drinking with friends tomorrow, so i'm sure that'll cheer me up. not sure if this is the thread for this either, just wanted to post something. better than some melnek wanker talking about his death wish.
[editline]25th December 2015[/editline]
also it's 4:30am lol, probably not gonna get too much sleep tonight

She should've been straight up about her religion from the beginning.

That's how a number of older houses and apartments in the US work, but I think since the 60s most houses have moved to a furnace and hot water tank. This means that for heating the house, you use a forced-air natural gas system.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forced-air_gas
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_water_storage_tank
I have a 60 gallon tank, meaning I get like 30 minutes of hot water in the shower during winter, after that it starts getting cold, then in 5 minutes it gets mains cold.

One of the things I miss THE MOST about living in the UK, besides Nandos, was the presence of a Boiler. And radiators I guess. Unlimited hot water for showers was soooo nice.
My boss asked me to get married because according to him, it helped him immensely with work-related stress.
So I straight up told him I had no money. And also tell him to take it easy with current complaints againts him.
And also I didnt wear a tie when I met him in his office.
Am I a bad subordinate now?

In my experience for a lot of reasons the system most US houses is superior, energy efficiency is tenfold improved, much less expensive to replace, easier to install, etc. Though having limited hot water sucks, newer houses have the option of instant and unlimited hot water with new systems, which I'd be tempted to get on a new house. But I don't trust myself to waste a ton of money and water (in a desert :v:) enough to do that.
I'm saving money so me and my friend can go to a Vocaloid concert.
I don't even like Vocaloid or even Jpop in general, I just want to go to say I've been to a Vocaloid concert.

That's something I wouldn't exactly be proud of being able to say...
I stay up all night on christmas just to wake up my family at 4 in the morning with air horns screaming and cap guns
It's pretty much a tradition at this point
That's something I wouldn't exactly be proud of being able to say...
It depends on your circle. In my friend group you would certainly get some mocking but everyone would ultimately think it was cool that you got to go.
I guess it just depends on if its your thing or not. It isn't mine.
[editline]25th December 2015[/editline]
I guess thats kind of hypocritical for me to say since I went to a hard style/hardcore festival and any genres related to it, for the experience in the first place. Not because I'm into it. I listen to it when I'm in an odd mood, but its not made for me.
I did enjoy myself though. So all I can say is I hope you do too.
She should've been straight up about her religion from the beginning.
i agree. wish i could at least be mad or disappointed or something at her, but i'm just... not.
I constantly have dreams of finding "the one" and I have brief moments of a huge desire to start a family.

I used to do that, but stopped as I got older
Now it barely feels like Christmas now
