it's good, not as good as Gunbuster.

It's one of the absolute best slice of life shows out there.
K-ON dislike is mostly from people that can't appreciate slice of life to begin with, and then get extra mad because it's well recieved and has all this "wasted animation" and attention that could have been spent on gay swimming.
