Went to minotaur (shitty nerd store in the city) because I had to kill an hour innacity today. Found a renge nendo, was super psyched because they're sold out on amiami Checked the price tag 99 dollars I literally just walked out.
is this the part where you tell us that figmas were actually cheaper than they were online, and the owner of the store is actually trying to save everybody
Anything worth looking for at PAX East? Never been to pax but I really want some LoGH models, or lupin/Space dandy stuff. Still can't believe LoGH blu rays are 2k+
is this the part where you tell us that figmas were actually cheaper than they were online, and the owner of the store is actually trying to save everybody
I wasn't expecting cheap but 99 dollars is pretty much a 300% markup of it's normal price. EDIT: Also I checked out another store because they had TF2 merch, they had the official figures which were kinda cool. They also had a plastic sandvich [sp]it was also 99 dollars[/sp] seriously fuck melbourne i quit
If we're doing recommendations, I might as well ask. One of my favourite things is anything that makes regular use of stuff like surreal situations and impossible architecture, particularly when you've got stuff that's less of a magical setting and more of a fantastical one, particularly when mixed with something otherwise normal. Stuff that tends to show up in dream sequences. oh yeah now i remember why i haven't asked for this before, i suck at phrasing it this is dgg levels of unclear bullshit To use an example, I'm not talking about something like Kill la Kill or Haruhi, but closer to Nananananananana Katamari Damacy's Buried Treasure, was really close to what I wanted until it made the unnecessary swerve. Or stuff like the Trial part of Brave Story. There are better examples than Brave Story but for some reason I can't think of them. This might be a "you mean like x" "yes, like x" situation if there are better examples that I could name. That was probably incredibly unclear and probably didn't narrow down what I wanted at all. I should probably just get around to watching Paprika instead.

I wish I knew of more anime where the MC isn't a spineless dickless idiot, and actually could get himself laid once in a while. But I think I have seen all 5 of those shows.
I wish I knew of more anime where the MC isn't a spineless dickless idiot, and actually could get himself laid once in a while. But I think I have seen all 5 of those shows.
you should try reading manga instead
you should try reading manga instead
Nah, never been able to get into manga. Hard to read on a plane, and commie makes everything fun
Nah, never been able to get into manga. Hard to read on a plane, and commie makes everything fun
is all your free time spent flying
Nah, never been able to get into manga. Hard to read on a plane, and commie makes everything fun
I only read manga on a plane like a sensible person Sure the costs are high but that flight to Mexico was needed to catch up on One Punch Man
Kuuchuu Buranko
+1ing this. Great show. Episode 10 of Kuuchuu is one of my favorite episodes in anything.
Nah, never been able to get into manga. Hard to read on a plane, and commie makes everything fun
well have fun not having those things you want then ヽ(´ー`)ノ
Jfish is a bird man. He used to fly everywhere, but his wings were destroyed in a horrible blender accident. He has never gotten over the urge to soar and spends every possible moment in an airplane.
is all your free time spent flying
I travel a lot for work, anime is just easier to do on a plane than manga.
well have fun not having those things you want then ヽ(´ー`)ノ
Hopefully we will get another anime like CA soon, that will keep me entertained
The planes you're on must have some crazy turbulence if you can't read on them.
The planes you're on must have some crazy turbulence if you can't read on them.
I can, hell I read the subs(most of the time). But I dunno something about anime is easier than manga, and more enjoyable. At least to me.
Watching Anime and Reading Manga are the SAME THING. Except one has moving pictures and the other doesn't. Also one usually has more story than the other. [editline]23rd February 2015[/editline] I started using Manga Rock for my tablet to read an wow it's good. I love it. I use to use MangaGalaxy but since he got his banned form Google Play he stopped updating it. It's just so nice to have manga chapters auto-download when it's released.
It's not the same without commiesubs
you're right, it's far better. fuck commie.

It's not that your request is unclear, but rather niche/specific instead. Kaiba and Dead Leaves as has been recommended definitely hits that spot. Cat Soup Kyousogiga (sorta) Mind Game (mostly) Aoi Bungaku Series (at least one of the arcs, the Hell Screen og Spider's Thread one, can't remember, also just sorta) Gankutsuou Genius Party & Genius Party Beyond (collection of shorts, some apply) Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (mildly and sorta) Mawaru Penguindrum, Yuri Kuma Arashi and Revolutionary Girl Utena all sort of fit this, don't they? Revolutionary Girl Utena (the movie) Serial Experiments Lain, internet Evangelion 3.0 :v: Tatami Galaxy fucks with the architecture of life itself, that has to count, right? [del]Hen Zemi[/del], no wait, that's impossible people, not architecture.
you're right, it's far better. fuck commie.
Commie has the best subs, he can make A/Z:2 enjoyable, that takes some skill
Commie has the best subs, he can make A/Z:2 enjoyable, that takes some skill
Commie is more than one preson.
Commie is more than one preson.
Yes it is a group, you know what I meant.
Commie has the best subs, he can make A/Z:2 enjoyable, that takes some skill
ye fucking love me some eoten rub a dub dub thanks for the grub
ye fucking love me some eoten rub a dub dub thanks for the grub
as if the regular dialogue in anime is any less abrasive to look at. id rather have a laugh then a spine shudder.
as if the regular dialogue in anime is any less abrasive to look at. id rather have a laugh then a spine shudder.
I'd rather laugh at good wordplay translations than commie's shitty "translations"
I'd rather laugh at good wordplay translations than commie's shitty "translations"
Did commie run over your cat? This seems like a non-issue to me but since some of you are heated about this I'm just gonna bounce.
